TFL presents the fashion colour trends for leather garment, footwear, accessories, and upholstery.

Welcome to TFL’s new Colour Trend Catalogue for the season Spring-Summer 2014. In this brochure, we present the colour trends for leather garment, footwear, accessories, and upholstery.

We have divided the colour trends into “Wearing” and “Living”, devoting a section to each within the publication. Wearing comprises inspirations and colour trends for garments, footwear, and acces-sories. The Living section features all colours that will decorate the season’s interior design.Advantages for TFL customers: knowledge of the future colour preferences and trends helps designers, manufacturers, and tanners to stay one step ahead of the market. In combination with the fashion colour trends TFL provides information about the appropriate dyes and dye applications.

In the following pages we are happy to spotlight our SELLA® FAST A colour range. SELLA® FAST A dyes are anionic powder dyes specially selected for the drum dyeing of shoe upper leather. The products provide many advantages such as:

The sailing trends for the Spring-Summer 2014 season lead us to new waterproof boat shoes and to big travel bags with a very large grain.

Wrinkled nubuck leather articles are characterised by homogeneous and transparent colours. Goat skin is perfect – due to its cost and adaptability – for soft ballerinas and casual sneakers. For décolleté and clutch bags, bright brush-off effects with metallic shades represent the fashion.

A new trend in the casual look is for matt, crease-resistant unlined soft leather jackets, with wet-white leather inserts.

Il tema della nautica ci riconduce a nuove scarpe da barca idrorepellenti e a borsoni con grane molto evidenti.

I nubuk sono raggrinziti in botte e con tonalità molto pulite e trasparenti. La pelle di capretto, per ragioni di prezzo e duttilità d’uso, è molto indicata per morbide ballerine e soffici casual sneakers. Per le decolleté e le clutcher effetti brush-off brillanti con riflessi metallici.

Natural grain, light weight, softness, strong glossy effects on natural goat skins. Trend: Light weight, very soft and glossy goat skins are combined with buffalo grain with contrasting embossing. Nappa on calf skins with cationic finishing and a light pull-up effect to be combined with South-American floral embossing on splits.

The market is paying attention to outdoor décor and this kind of style is also transferred into interior designs and also into the field of automotive leather.

In the Spring-Summer 2014 season, houses, hotels, and even cars are characterised by open, transparent areas.

For this, the perfect leather article is a hand-buffed, padded, washed-out nubuck. In general, designers are selecting leather articles with a low specific weight, finished with protective coatings against soiling and bad weather, which supports the maintenance of the natural silky touch of the leather. In addition, soft vegetable leathers with a waxy touch are combined with fluorescent suede splits.

Il mercato si rivolge sempre più all’arredo da esterni e questo stile si riflette anche nell'interior design. Nella collezione primavera-estate 2014, l’interior design di case, alberghi e automobili è caratterizzato da ampie zone di trasparenza.

Per questa ragione, il nubuk slavato, tamponato e smerigliato a mano è l’articolo più indicato. Si prediligono conce e riconce di basso peso specifico con protezioni alle intemperie e allo sporco senza perdere l’aspetto setoso dei tatti. Creating Dye innovation.

SELLA® DERM M2 dyes are concentrated solutions of homogeneous, salt-free, mainly metal complex dyes. They are made water-miscible with environmentally acceptable organic solvents.The SELLA® DERM M2 range consists of sixteen NMP-free dyes which are all miscible with each other and highly compatible, thus allowing a flexible colour matching.

SELLA® DERM M2 dyes are recommended for the dyeing of crust leather but they can be also used in order to colour base coat binders and seasons, as well as leather-finishing lacquers.They allow deepening, intensifying, correcting, freshening or levelling of the shade of dyed leather. SELLA® DERM M2 dyes have a good performance in spraying, tipping, brush applications, curtain or roll-coating.

The main characteristics of SELLA® DERM M2 are:
