Case Study on Colour Me Beautiful We have worked with Colour Me Beautiful , Europe’s leading image consultants on both a retained and project basis since we started Shrewd PR in 2004. Our activities have included building general brand awareness, the promotion of their cosmetics collection and services to the consumer media and the promotion of their corporate service to the business press. We have also worked with Hamlyn’s marketing team to launch Colour Me Confident, Image Matters for Men, Colour Me Younger, Be A Beautiful Bride, Colour Me Beautiful, Colour Me Slimmer and in 2014 the revised and updated version of Colour Me Beautiful. Over the 30 years that Colour Me Beautiful have been operating they have continually tried to modernise and improve the service that they are able to offer. 2015 saw the launch of their E-learning and training academy and we supported this launch by targeting specific fashion trade press, national newspapers, the women’s consumer magazines and online titles. In addition we have helped them launch Istylista by Colour Me Beautiful. This is an online style and fashion service that enables subscribers to receive a weekly fashion update direct to their email address. Customers are then able to buy items direct from a variety of retail partners. We used a variety of tools to meet the challenges set by Colour Me Beautiful. We developed relationships with the key media and used consultants as spokespersons on fashion related issues and on the psychology of colour. Articles were written on topical issues for use by websites and product sampling and the judicious use of reader offers to promote services at quieter times of the year proved successful. We have written regular guest blog posts that are used on 3rd party blogs on all matters fashion related.

Case Study on Colour Me Beautiful

Coverage for Colour Me Beautiful regularly appeared on the fashion pages of The Times, the beauty pages of the women’s consumer magazines and selected websites.  In addition comments from Colour Me Beautiful were used by the fashion editor of the Press Association, which generated considerable amounts of publicity in the regional newspapers.
