GreenCoat Crown® BT is a eco-friendly colour coated systemdeveloped by SSAB Swedish Steel.

The Bio-based Technology (BT) properties in the coating have beenoptimized for roofing products.

The product is manufactured according to the BT patent (Bio-basedTechnology) and therefore holds a high environmental position. In BTcoatings, a substantial portion of the traditional fossil content isreplaced by a bio-based component – for greener living. SSAB holdsa worldwide patent for this coating technology.

The product possesses very good gloss retention and colour fastness,and also provides good protection against corrosion. It has greaterdurability than standard polyester when exposed to people walkingon the roof and other roof stresses. The minimal texture of the surfaceenables the product to be used on roof pitches as low as 3 Degrees.

GreenCoat Crown® BT offers high performance in roofing andcladding applications in aggressive environments. With an assuredcorrosion resistance rating of RC5 and an UV rating of Ruv3,GreenCoat Crown® BT is best suited for environments that require ahigh performing environmentally friendly product.

GreenCoat Crown® BT has a slightly textured surface and is availablein a wide range of colours in either regular gloss ormatt finishes
