Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be

well-pleasing to Him. 2 Corinthians 5:9

1. My goal in life is to please God 2. I please God by being like Jesus

(Matthew 17:5)

3. God knows I’m not perfect, but he expects me to be growing (Philippians 1:6)

Is God’s Kingdom My FIRST Pursuit?

“Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His right-eousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
