Gaining hands on expe-rience is what young are asking for so we provide that need.My heart is that you will believe in the youth of our future like I do. Many hours, days, and years have gone into The Colosoul Group, my passion drives me to see young people supported and given a chance to move forward in life without feeling like there is no hope for their future. Lets keep their future bright and give into some-thing that means something to so many youths. Colosoul means something and it is reaching out and touching the hearts of many through the arts. With your support we can continue to move for-ward.

This will hopefully lead to furthering the Colosoul group in other places where there is limited op-portunity for youths to gain the hands on experi-ence they are looking for.The Colosoul Group has been set up so that is should eventually be able to operate within in its subsections under the Colosoul Group Inc banner. With the support of industry mentors and well-trained team leaders. I believe in empowering young people and giving them an opportunity that otherwise would not be available.I envision, the Colosoul Group becoming stead-ily more structured over the next year to a point; when each section under its banner as a whole, can properly operate on its own. This means that team leaders will be completely trained in such a way that when handing over their position any new team leader will be able to follow on correctly without ongoing supervision. This also means each section will be more effec-

I got involved with the Colosoul Group because I believe in the vision that Trish Ray has, I feel that it’s important to mentor and help youth to understand that they are capable of achieving greatness if they have the right focus in life. I also love the fact that Colosoul reaches out to so many charities and helps so many disadvantaged adults and children throughout the world. Trish Rays vision and passion is very inspired and in time I hope to see this organisation grow so it is able to helps many more people.Adrien Lloyd-CEO at Hypersonic Corporation Pty Ltd

My involvement with Colosoul started after meeting Trish at the 2006 Esther Foundation fund raising ball. Inspired by her drive to deliver this public service, I was more than happy to help her with her mission to develop a sustainable prototype for an independent, creative, professionally recognised and socially responsible not for profit organisation. Building bridges to business to provide the platform from which fresh talent are unearthed and connected to communi-ties and corporations to evolve through collaboration. I don’t know how many people have changed the world but participation and contribution is paramount for growth. Jess Sullivan - Marketing and PR Consultant

Colosoul is an organisation that I support because of its innovative and con-nected platform it provides for our young people to engage with our commu-nity. Headed by an inspirational leader Tricia Ray, I am proud to be part of Colosoul and what it stands for. Well done to the team and all the best with your future endeavours.Jeremy ChettyStudent Edge Cofounder.

I had the privilege of crossing paths with Tricia Ray and Colosoul in 2010.At the time, I was the newly appointed CEO of a youth lifestyle eyewear company.Tricia introduced the Colosoul Group and the vision of mentoring and fostering young artists, designers, media/journalists with a view to go forth and create in the real world. Expecting a basic “sales pitch” meeting, I was completely astounded and inspired with Tricia’s vision to be a platform of professional development and success for so many young people. I bought in from that very meeting and have since been both a believer and an evangelist for Colosoul. Colosoul is a platform which empowers creative young people to enter their chosen careers with skills, knowledge and confidence to advance forward. The “track record” of Colosoul success stories is nothing less than extraordinary. To this end, I will continue to support Tricia’s vision of developing industry leaders through the Colosoul experience.Terry Jones Business Development Officer media kit 2014II

Since its inception in 2005, Colosoul has successfully rooted its head office in Perth hosting volunteers from diverse backgrounds and all walks of life includ-ing Indigenous Australians and supporting disadvantaged youths. An expan-sion in 2011/2012 in acknowledgment for our efforts allowed us to expand operations in Melbourne through our mentorship program.

As of 2013, we are proud to announce that we have on board a solid Marketing team and are excited for future ventures! Enjoy the advantage of coming on board with Colosoul, building a relationship that ensures high quality service affordable rates whilst investing into our mentorship program.

Colosoul is a not-for profit organisation within the Media and Arts Sec-tor operated by a group of passionate and enthusiastic volunteers. With 150 young people continuously involved throughout the year you can recognise the need for such an organisation to exist. We recognise that Colosoul wouldn’t be what it is today without our volunteers. As such, we have established an posi-tive, creative, learning environment to anyone under the Colosoul umbrella.

Colosoul’s main goal is to provide the youth an opportunity to explore their maximum potentials in media and arts sector. To make this possible, the or-ganisation runs a mentorship program called LICK where a number of mentors provide a guidance to their mentees regarding different sectors: PR, marketing, fashion, photography, film, graphic design, creative writing and event manage-ment.

Colosoul is aligned with ACAS, a registered training organisation and this al-lows us to give qualified certificates through our mentorship program. Young people can grow in confidence and study online whilst getting hands on experi-ence. Great way to learn and great motivation!

Colosoul is a unique platform for young people from all diverse backgrounds to get a kickstart within the industry, where they explore and polish their media related skills.

I was involved at the Colosoul Group 4 years ago. I came on board as a Jour-nalist and I wanted to get a kickstart within the industry and I had an in-terest in fashion. When Tricia asked me what it is that I most passionate about I told her I was definitely lean-ing towards fashion and so she asked me if I would like to help with a fash-ion event at that time called Make Your Move. I helped with preproduc-tion, liaising with designers, set up, guest lists and overseeing on the day of production. It was very challenging, however what I learnt from putting on a fashion show such as this - was it gave me the insight to know what it takes to do it. I also had the opportu-nity to meet industry personals and it helped me to be connected within the fashion industry it helped me to take a look at what it was I really wanted to do, I decided to head down the road of a jewellery designer. I now have my own label called Brooke Persich De-signs and I have a studio in NY.---- Brooke Persich, age 24Owner at Brooke Persich Designs , New York

Started at Colosoul, age 20Having worked for Colosoul as a free-lance fashion writer and event or-ganiser, I was able to get first hand experience in the industry as well as meet a lot of well-placed people that allowed me to continue to pursue my passion. Receiving the opportunity to learn and foster your interest with a supportive group without any prior ex-perience is very hard to come by and I couldn’t thank Colosoul and Tricia Ray enough for the opportunities they have given me.I have the belief that Foxfeet will be able to give emerging designers a foot in the door and enhance their creative skills, which in turn will allow them to successfully start up their brand. ----Nadine Pougnet, age 25Fashion blogger (http://moderngirlsin-vintagepearls.blogspot.com.au/)Started at Colosoul, age 22

I have received support and guidance from Fox-feet and Colosoul over the past 5 years that has included being involved in multiple fashion shows and gaining instrumental exposure through publi-cations and articles over the years. The support growth has been outstanding one year to the next and provided myself, as a student designer at the time, a platform to experience the Fashion Indus-try. This included aspects such as runway, exhibi-tion stands, styling, model liaison, PR, marketing and organisational skills that are all fundamental to operating at large within the Industry. Foxfeet and Colosoul has been an excellent opportunity to build networks and over the years I have gained much valued contacts with fellow designers, pho-tographers, stylists, makeup artists, hairdressers, reporters and media personnel. ----Jonté Pike, age 23Director – Jonté DesignsStarted at Colosoul, age 20

I have been involved with Colosoul group as an il-lustrator and graphic designer for almost three years, starting just before I finished my Design course at ECU. Colosoul Group provided me with a professional and motivating context to help me take my first steps in the design industry. The whole concept behind Colosoul, their valuable dedi-cation to support young artists and giving them the opportunity to experience real industry work after graduating from university, and most importantly the friendly and positive, yet highly professional work environment have been all very inspiring to me to this day. That is why even after I got a job in the graphic design industry, I found it very hard to discontinue working with the amazing team of Colosoul. The high level of creativity expected from designers and the freedom that is given to them to go as creative and artistic as they can go with their designs, the friendly and caring team , specially Tricia Ray herself with her loving and supporting personality, the art events, the social and environmental awareness programs and also the positive vibe and encouragement I constantly receive from them, are amongst many reasons that keep me to continue to be involved with Colosoul. To me Colosoul was not just a start point, but an ongoing support and a very inspiring and pleasant experience, that will definitely open more doors to my future career. --- Nastaran Ghadiri 24Graphic Designer & Illustrator (www.nastarang-hadiri.webs.com)Started at Colosoul age28te

I found my passion for events while working for the Colosoul Group Inc. I start-ed volunteering for the Colosoul Group Inc in 2011, for the last two years I have worked non-stop as a volunteer alongside my commitment to uni and a casual pay-ing job. I have dedicated my time to an organization I truly believe is trying to make the community a better place. Colosoul has allowed for me, to not only grow as person but also expand my skills in the event industry. Working at Colosoul has been one of the most challenging, frustrating and re-warding experiences. When I started working at Colosoul I had limited event experience and was thrown in the deep end when I took on the role of EventDirector. The role was a new one, and involved supervising all the event manag-ers and their events. It was truly a challenge I thrived on, working in events on a practical level has allowed me to realize my passion for working in events in the community. After working at Colosoul for a year I was then asked to take on the additional role of Managing Director. Working both roles truly tested my ability to preserve and to overcome adversity. The Colosoul Group is important for young people in the community because it al-lows for us to gain skills and experience in our chosen careers. It allows for young people to have a taste of potential careers and the mentorship programs can help steer them in the right direction. It also gives people a sense of belonging and ac-ceptance, and a sense of accomplishment in the projects they’re given.Venus D’Scarlett 21 started at Colosoul age 19

I have been mentored as a model by the Colosoul group for the past3 years. I always wanted to do modelling but never thought that I would be able to. With the support of Tricia Ray and the Colosoul team I had the opportunity to lead on the catwalk at their fashion shows shown during Perth Fashion Festival. My con-fidence has grown incredible. I then was approached by Liz Davenport and asked if I would like to model for her label. I feel that with the experience, time and patience that Colosoul offers to young people to help them achieve their goals and dreams is absolutely amazing. I am so glad I have this opportunity and I just know without Colosoul this would not have been possible. Thank you Colosoul, keep reaching out and helping young people along their journey to success!Lydia White Elk 21 years/started at Colosoul age 18

BENIFITSMALL BUSINESS

We launch seasonal fashion parades with retail clients to feature new season items. This benefits the stores with positive publicity in promoting their products to consumers and in turn will increase awareness and sales opportunities.

Colosoul takes the opportunity to expand its client portfolio by networking with the community while giving opportuni-ties to their volunteers involved in the mentorship program to apply their skills to industry related tasks.

If you own a small business in fashion and hairdressing then this would particularly suit you. Don’t have the time to mar-ket yourself in a savvy way, want to be noticed more? We know how.

Grow Sponsorship Funding

Small BusinessesDespite weathering the Global Financial Crisis 2008 -2009, local busi-nesses still struggle at keeping their doors open. In addition, the add-ed stress of high labour costs affects the affordability for services such as Marketing, Public Relations, and Design Services etc from boutique agencies. Forgoing these capabilities is not an option as it would limit the sustainability of the business. Therefore, current offerings include very affordable charges, in relation to other agencies, on the types of service packages based on the number of years since establishment and the services they require.Being involved in this initiative would be beneficial to the businesses as they would be supporting young people in successfully entering their desired industry workplace. By joining us, small businesses can expect creative and innovative solutions that meet the needs of their business.

CorporationsAs a not-for-profit, we know we need your support! As a sponsor you can help us continue to meet our growing needs. To achieve our goals for a trendy, creative and in-novative working space that volun-teers can actively participate from, your financial contribution and donations of goods go along way.

More importantly, we believe that having a creative space inspires the Colosoul youths with their under-takings as it promotes creativity and innovative thinking at Colo-soul.

By partaking in this venture, you will be investing into Australia’s fu-ture leaders within this creative sec-tor and you will also be saying I am giving our youth a brighter future to look forward to.

In addition, it is an opportunity to be recognised for social responsibil-ity by giving back to the Australian community.

Similarly, these sponsorships are crucial to the ongoing success of the Mentorship Program especially throughout times of exponential growth. This is required to further develop our mentorship opportuni-ties and to have a place that suits a fun, young yet professional culture.
