WORLD JUNIORS The Avs have two players participating in the 2016 IIHF World Junior Championship in Finland, forward Mikko Rantanen (Finland) anddefenseman Sergei Boikov (Russia).  Rantanen, Finland's captain, was Colorado's first-round pick (10th overall) this past June, whileBoikov was selected in the sixth round (161st overall) in that same draft. Hartley is in his fourth year as the Flames Head Coach. The native of Hawkesbury, Ontario won the organization's first Jack Adam Award asCoach of the Year in 2014-15.He coached in his 800th NHL game on Nov. 18, 2014 and registered his 400th NHL win on Dec. 4, 2014.Hartley became the head coach of Quebec’s AHL affiliate, the Hershey Bears where he won a Calder Cup title in 1997 after going tothe Memorial Cup with Laval Titans in 1993 and two Championships at the helm of the Hawksbury Hawks (CJHL)..
