Abstract: The collection contains automobile color and trim samples dating from 1896 to 1989, including color swatches for coach builders. Of particular note are the booklets of suggested colors for Rolls Royce and Bentley cars.

It also contains many Berger car color swatches for various marques, such as Alfa Romeo, Audi, British Leyland, BMW, Chrysler France/Simca, Chrysler UK/Rootes, Citroen, DAF, Datsun, Fiat, Ford, Honda, Jaguar, Mazda, Mercedes, Moskvitch, NSU, Opel, Peugeot, Porsche, Renault, Rover, Saab, Skoda, Toyota, Triumph, Vauxhall, VW, Volvo, Wartburg, Miscellaneous, Ral, and many more.
