Xo 55 duo Perfect ergonomics – attractive designThe new Xo 55 duo brings together theadvantages of the Xo models and theforced-action mixing principle. Fast andthorough mixing of a wide range of dif-ferent materials combined with outstand-ing ergonomics and energy-saving opera-tion. There is no counter-torque on theuser. With stirrers in different colors, sothey can be fitted easily and correctly.

Fast and thoroughthe forced-action mixing enables fast andthorough mixing; the material is guidedthrough the mixing tools for the best results,even with materials which are difficult to mix.

As varied as the requirements on the building siteThe success of your work depends onchoosing the correct stirrer. The mixing action of the stirrer and the viscosity of thematerial must match. Only then is it possi-ble to transform the material quickly andeasily into its desired final state – withoutlumps and without splashes.

The characteristics of the material will onlydevelop to full effect if it is thoroughlymixed.

In addition the shape and size of the se-lected mixing tub also has a by no meansinsignificant influence on mixing results.

The mixing action of the stirrers� From the bottom up(clockwise)The material is conveyed upwards fromthe bottom of the tub and flows downagain at the side. This method is used forheavy mixes as mortar, plaster, cement,sand- and pebble-filled materials. The stir-rer works its way easily into the material.

� From the top down(anti-clockwise)The material is forced down from the topand then flows back up again at the sides.Any lumps are broken up by the high sheerforce generated by the stirrer, withoutsplashing. This method is ideal for liquidmaterials such as paints, dispersions, fibrous materials or even soft gypsumtype plaster.

Parallel mixing actionIn this case the material is swirled. Thecomponents move up and down whenthe stirrer is moved accordingly. Thismethod is ideal for fillers. Fewer air inclu-sions in the material and generally highershear forces prevent the formation of lumps.
