    PUBLIC MEETING NOTIFICATIONRoadway Project on State Road (SR) A1A/Collins Avenue

    The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Six is developing

    the design for a roadway project along SR A1A/Collins Avenue from 5 Street to

    Lincoln Road in the City of Miami Beach, Miami-Dade County.

    PROJECT DETAILS:

    Repaving and restriping the road

    Widening the lanes between 15 Street and 16 Street

    Reconstructing sidewalks

    Upgrading signage, including electronic signs at 17 street and at Lincoln Road

    Upgrading pedestrian ramps, countdown pedestrian signals and crosswalks

    Upgrading drainage

    Relocating utilities, if necessary

    Reducing parking width and travel lanes to provide an exclusive left turn lanethroughout the road

    Installing sidewalk curb extensions at each intersection

    Upgrading lighting
