The Professional’s Guide

1. A 64mm hole needs to be cut into the ceiling. Taking care to avoid joists, cables and pipes. The LED housing is then fitted into the hole and secured to the ceiling.

2. The ceiling can now be plastered up to the lip of the LED housing.

3. The ceiling can now be decorated, blending the housing seamlessly into the ceiling. Finally, the LED unit is fitted and clipped into place.

An adjustable mains dimmable driver makes positioning during installation much easier, even in fire rated ceilings.

We were the first to the UK electrical wholesale market with a heat sink positioned outside of

the fire can, giving improved light output and life. Our fire can meets

30, 60 or 90 minute burn times.

LEDs recessed to create a low glare, more natural look and feel to the light output.

Designed by Collingwood engineers to be 92% efficient, the lens is available in 38° beam angle and features a micro lens surface to reduce glare.

Produces 80% more light than a traditional 50W GU10

halogen fitting and up to 40% brighter on average than a

GU10 LED replacement fitting.

Meets building regulations part B (fire protection), C (moisture protection), E (acoustic protection), P (electrical

safety) and L (conservation of energy).

H5 500 Sym & Asym OptionsThe H5 500 is available in both symmetric and asymmetric versions. The symmetric version is ideal for general room lighting where an even spread of light is required. The asymmetric version is perfect for lighting a specific area such as a picture or feature.
