TEAM TRIVIA, FRIDAY, AUGUST 24, 5PM – AUDITORIUM: Team Trivia Returns! The Drama Committee invites you to join in Team Trivia with a Cash Bar, Prizes, Fun for All. JEWISH SABBATH SERVICE AND DINNER will be held at 5:30 PM in the Dining Room WEED WARRIORS, SATURDAY, AUGUST 25, 8:30AM: This week we will pick up trash and clear some branches from the Regents Park Trail that provides a beautiful extension of our Perimeter trail. Last spring, we agreed to adopt the trail, but storm-downed trees and the rainy weather have prevented us from working on that trail. Meet at the junction of the connector trail and the Ken Lee Traverse, or if you are late, just take the connector to the county trail. The Weed Warriors always welcomes new members. Residents who join us for the first time this week will receive a valuable membership gift. LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS, PRINCE GEORGE’S CHAPTER, SATURDAY, AUGUST 25, 10AM-2PM – GAME ROOM: Collington Game Room. Light lunch will be served. The League is a national, nonpartisan organization. It encourages the informed and active participation of citizens in government, works to increase understanding of major public issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy. Voter registration and education are currently a major focus of the local chapter. Collington members and non-members, both men and women, are invited to attend this important planning session.
