• Review how I’m I changing my mindset to a growth mindset and how does this relate to the ACT?
• In Directions my expert plan 2, yes we have done this but now we are in a different place and space be REFLECTIVE
GROWTH OVER TIME 12 MINUTES
• Being reflective write down three ways that you have changed in a positive way since the beginning of the school year.
• Being REFLECTIVE is part of a growth mindset
• Share Out: What areas have stayed the same since the beginning of the school year?
• By comparing these plan, how can you tell you have changed over the past semester?
• How would you describe the change?Did Appling growth mindset to your plan, make a difference for you in terms of how you felt about improving your ACT performance?
• What are your next steps after uncovering this information?
HOW AM I DOING? 15 MINUTES
• Read the ACT scorecard• Look at your pre-ACT scores
again and answer the questions according to your scores, you can also use the selectivity chart on the LCD projector.
EXIT TICKET 8 MINUTES
• Use the images in front of you that represent how you understand the connection between goal setting and improvement.
• Now write a sentence explain this idea.
