COURSE DETAILS
This course is for everyone – whether you are still in school, starting your first job or have been entrenched with your finances for decades. It will be equally beneficial for those who are employed, unemployed, or in business.
Exploring how we are with money allows us to expose, broaden (expand) and develop our relationship with money. This will ultimately support us with understandings that then flow into all other areas of our lives: health and wellbeing, relationships with partners, family, friends, colleagues and our communities. Learning how you are with your personal finances will support you to build a solid and clear foundation. Explore what works, what doesn’t and why.
So how and where to start?
THIS COURSE WILL EXPLORE:
• Were you ever taught how to handle, use or manage money?
• How and what have you learned to-date? Is it working?
• Do you feel like you are constantly trying to come up for air or in survival mode with money?
• Do you want to run the other way at the mere mention of money, finances, budgeting, cash-flows, bookwork?
• What is the angst, overwhelm ?
• Do you feel burdened as the provider e.g. as the household’s sole means of income?

Why do we sleep? What is sleep and why is it so important to physical, emotional and mental health?
This course will explore the science of sleep, the hours leading up to sleep, (known as the ‘wind-down period’) and will explore our natural daily rhythm. Paying attention to and living with respect for our physiology improves the quality of our sleep – looking at how we can best honour our bodies to support our sleep will be a key focus of the course. Sleep is part of a ‘repose cycle’ consistent in both the macrocosm and microcosm of nature, but not always honoured by man. We will discover how sleep supports us beyond function – facilitating the rejuvenating and evolving qualities of sleep that are not yet widely understood or appreciated.
THE COURSE WILL EXPLORE:
• Our relationship with sleep and our unique rhythms around sleep
• What influences these rhythms, what works for each of us and what doesn’t
• The science of sleep in relationship to our own bodies, patterns and observations.
PLEASE BRING:
• A writing pad and pen / electronic devices may be used
• Your own means of hydration
• Please bring a yoga mat and pillows or cushions each week to support your body for Body Awareness and Connective Tissue exercises

This course is a five week program specifically designed to respond to this growing trend, offering men an opportunity to deepen their understanding, develop their awareness and gain insight into the many contributing factors that leave them feeling depressed and/or exhausted.
Depression and exhaustion are a major concern with 1 in 8 men admitting to experiencing depression in Australia at any given time. Suicide is currently the leading cause of death for men aged between 25 – 44 with more and more men reporting feeling run down, moody, agitated, disengaged and tired.
The effects of depression and exhaustion can be subtle and go unnoticed, resulting in men often withdrawing from family and friends, working overtime or adopting unhealthy behaviours as a means to cope.
THE COURSE WILL EXPLORE:
• How our diet and other physiological factors influence our moods
• How our beliefs about ourselves, our work and our family can either deplete or revitalise
• The role that anxiety and stress can play in our lives
• How avoiding or not acknowledging what we’re experiencing can make matters worse
• Practical tools that men can use to support themselves throughout the day so as to start to build a life free from depression and exhaustion.
PLEASE BRING:
• A writing pad and pen / electronic devices may be used
• Your own means of hydration

UNDERSTANDING MEN IN ANXIETY“For as long as I can remember I have been a nervous, anxious man. It was a part of how I lived. What was beautiful for me in doing this course was the understanding of nervousness and anxiety that I developed. The course simply explained what nervousness and anxiety are, where they originate, the effects they have on my body and how the relationship that I have with myself affects how I am. This demystifying has allowed me to let go of the fear of anxiety and nervousness and reinforce my relationship with myself. “ ~ Brian Piper, Byron Bay, NSW
EXERCISE FOR WELLBEING – WOMEN’S PROGRAM“This course is so unique in its offering of exercise as a way to be honouring of our bodies, not pushing or pulling our bodies away from ourselves, but being with our loveliness.” ~ Helen McCaffery, Ballina, NSW
EMBRACING PERI-MENOPAUSE, MENOPAUSE AND POST MENOPAUSE“I feel prepared for menopause. From not really knowing anything about it, only people’s experiences which on the whole weren’t positive, to realising menopause is a truly beautiful time for women to either claim themselves back from mothering and/or deepen our connection with ourselves.” ~ Robyn Jones, Lismore, NSW
HEALTHY SLEEP – HEALTHY LIFE“I thoroughly enjoyed this course and can feel major differences in my quality of sleep and my energy levels have improved” ~ Deborah McKay, Northern Rivers NSW
