Please note that transcripts must be sent to WGU directly from the issuing institution to be considered official. WGU does not perform unofficial evaluations or accept unofficial transcripts. The guidelines below will provide a good indication of expected transfer credit. Official transcript evaluations will occur in the month prior to your start. Transfer credit will not be awarded for transcripts received after your first term start date. A second, sequential course in English composition, equivalent to 3 units, excluding business and technical writing. TBP1 must be transferred or satisfied by degree before TCP1 can be transferred.

C132 Elements of Effective Communication 3 One additional course in Speech and Communication, equivalent to 3 units.

Quantitative Literacy The requirements below may be satisfied by an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree for this program. CODE ASSESSMENT CU REQUIREMENT FOR TRANSFER

C277 Finite Mathematics 4 One course in Finite Mathematics, Discrete Mathematics or Mathematics Modeling. -Not required in BSITNW program.

C278 College Algebra 4 One course in College Algebra or a course at a level higher than College Algebra (Calculus, Trigonometry, Linear Algebra).

CJC1 Introduction to Probability and Statistics 3 One course in Statistics or a course at a level higher than College Algebra (Calculus, Trigonometry, Linear Algebra). If C278 is met with College Algebra, CJC1 must be filled with Statistics.

Two courses, equivalent to 4 units, in the humanities (i.e. literature, visual and performing arts, music, theatre, philosophy, ethics or religious studies). Partial credit is accepted for this area: IWC1 must be transferred or satisfied by degree before IWT1 can be transferred.

Natural Science The requirements below may be satisfied by an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree for this program. CODE ASSESSMENT CU REQUIREMENT FOR TRANSFER

INC1 Integrated Natural Sciences 4 Can be satisfied by one course , equivalent to 3-4 CU's, in Life or Physical Science.

C164 Introduction to Physics 4 One course, equivalent to 3-4 units, in a Physical Science (Chemistry, Geology, Physics, Astronomy) with a lab component.

BVC1 Geography 3 One course in Geography. This requirement may be satisfied by a course in the social sciences (i.e. history, anthropology, sociology, psychology, economics or political science).

One course in Computer Operating Systems or one of the following Certifications: CompTIA A+ or certification in one of the following areas: Linux+ (if not used for CSV1), PDI+, MCSA (2003), MCSA (Server 2008/2012), MCSE (2003), MCSD for Microsoft .NET, MCITP Consumer, MCITP Enterprise Support or Administrator, MCITP Server Administrator, Sun Certified System Administratior (SCSA), Oracle Linux Administrator C393 and C394 must be transferred together. *This requirement can be satisfied by an Associate degree or higher in Information Technology for this program.
