College of Education Advanced Completer Satisfaction Survey: Completers Fall 2014 – Summer 2017
for the College of Education
April 29, 2019
Lauren Fuhrman, Statistician
Office of Planning and Assessment
Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania
Introduction The College of Education (COE) designed a completer satisfaction survey in spring 2018 (see Appendix A) that aligned
with standards presented by the Interstate New Teacher Assessment and Support Consortium (InTASC) and the
Council for Educator Preparation (CAEP). The Office of Planning and Assessment (OPA) facilitated the dissemination
of the survey and organized the data to serve meaningful discussion at the COE annual data retreat and within COE
faculty committees.
Methodology The Advanced Program’s Completer Survey was disseminated in April 2018 to completers of advanced programs from
2014-2015 to 2016-2017 (see Table 1). Email addresses were collected from the BU Alumni Association and MyHusky,
and electronic survey invitations were sent using Qualtrics. A $10 Amazon Card was offered as incentive for completed
survey responses. Of the 70 advanced program survey invitations sent, 17 consenting and completed responses
yielded an overall response rate of 24%. Due to a low number of respondents, an aggregate of the advanced programs
is provided with program data.
