Capbreton is a small town of around 7,500 inhabitants in the south-west of France. Located at the mouth of the Boudigau and Bourret rivers, the town is located about forty kms to the north of Biarritz and sixty to the border of Spain. The town is a popular holiday destination for sailers, surfers, and beach-goers.

Those concrete bunkers melt into the landscape with other natural rocks. They date back to the time when the German army was trying to build the Atlantic Wall during World War II.
The marina and the portThe port of Capbreton is one of the few where fishermen can sell the fish they’ve caught right after they’re back to the harbour.
