With a College Admission Counseling Certificate from Hamline, you will:

• Understanding the College Admission Process (3 credits)
• Career Development and Assessment (3 credits)
• Special Populations in College Counseling (3 credits)
• Practicum in College Counseling (4 credits)
Make your credits count for more. Hamline’s College Admission Counseling Certificate may be applied to fulfill electives for Hamline’s Master of Arts in Education, Master of Arts in Education: Natural Science and Environmental Education, or Master of Arts in Literacy Education programs.
ADMISSION To apply for admission to the College Admission Counseling Certificate program, please submit:
• Online application (no fee for U.S. residents).
• Official transcript of a bachelor’s degree with a GPA of at least 2.5 from a regionally accredited college or university. This should be sent directly from the institution to Graduate Admission or provided in a sealed, signed envelope. You do not have to provide transcripts for courses taken at Hamline University.
