I am interested in the summer internship opportunities available
at College World Series. Please accept this cover letter as my
application for the Summer Internship position and the Event
Internship positions. My enthusiasm, analytical skills,
organizational abilities, and creativity in solving problems would
make a positive contribution to College World Series. Throughout my
life, I have consistently driven myself to meet new challenges and
achieve goals. These qualities attracted me to the internship
positions with College World Series. I am confident that the
internship can provide both the challenge and opportunity I am
seeking.
I am currently a NCAA Division I student athlete; therefore, I
am well versed in multi-tasking and dealing with a wide variety of
people. I am adept at maintaining excellent relationships with
clients, peers, and management. One of the most important aspects
of being a student athlete is recognizing the importance of every
detail, whether it is big or small. I have a track record of
creating effective plans to reach a stated goal. I work well
independently, but I am equally comfortable working collaboratively
as part of a team. While being an effective self-starter, I am also
a creative team player with the ability to think outside of the
box.
