Post-school data collection starts when students have been out of school at least one year
The post-school survey inquires about students’ engagement within one year of leaving high school.

Where were you working? Did you work at least 90 days? How many hours a week did you work on average?
EDUCATION/TRAINING: Did you attend any type of school or training program within 1
year of leaving high school? What type of school or training program did you attend? Were you enrolled full-time or part-time? Were you enrolled for at least one complete term?
Guiding Definitions for Interviewers

Higher Education:A student enrolled in a 2 or 4-year degreed program
The degreed program is provided by a 2-year community/technical college or
The degreed program is provided by a 4-year college/university
Other Postsecondary Training:May include but is not limited to:
Compensatory education programs High school completion or certificate (ABE, GED) Short-term education or employment training program Voc/tech school less than a two-year program Adult Education

Competitive employment: Work for pay at or above the minimum wage In a setting with others who are nondisabled For a period of at least 20 hours a week For at least 90 days at any time in the year since
