Collage Map of My Community Project Inspiration Created by artist: Shannah Warwick

Create your own collage map inspired by a contemporary work of art in The Rockwell Museum Collection created by a female artist, Under the Elevated by DeAnn Prosia. DeAnn’s work celebrates the way buildings and structures fit together in a setting. Using felt, fabric, and mixed media materials, design a textile map of your community. What places and building will you include in your map?

DeAnn Prosia, Under the Elevated, 2017, Etching on paper, 11 3/4 × 11 3/4 in. Reifschlager Fund. 2018.2.
