programs in which high-potential mentees are paired with mentors who can help them excel
• Intel’s mentoring program is completely virtual, matching mentors and mentees across state lines and national boundaries
• IBM’s Remote Mentoring Project under University Relations
• MentorNet (http://www.mentornet.net) is an email-based mentoring network created in the USA for the support of female engineering and science students.
• The BlueCare E-mentoring system is purely email; there is no facility for synchronous communication such as video conferencing or instant messaging
