ProductsArran Dairy Ice CreamWe can assure fantastic provenance and quality with our range of award winning Scottish handmade ice cream; traditionally churned using cow’s milk from the island’s dairy herds, our fresh and smooth, traditional ice cream is a true taste experience, as are our range of flavours, which we produce using only the very best natural flavours and colours. Bellevue Soft CheeseNestling in the sleepy village of Blackwaterfoot on Arran’s west coast , Bellevue Creamery produces a range of delicious, award winning soft cheeses. From a former milking shed converted into a modern creamery, Bellevue produces Arran Blue, Arran Mist (a smooth, creamy Scottish brie) and Arran Camembert - all from the milk of Arran cows. Waxed Flavoured CheddarsThe Island Cheese Company was originally established in 1991 in the same building that was the original dairy for the Islands Home Farm, supplying the Lords and Ladies of Brodick Castle for several centuries. Every individual cheese is hand dipped 4 times to give a distinctive look to each of the delicious flavoured cheddars. Most UK Cheddars are fast maturing and will become very mature within 4 to 5 months; this gives them a sharp taste and a more crumbly texture. Our cheddar is slow maturing which means it won’t be fully mature until 12 to 14 months. This leads to a creamier cheese with a smoother texture. Suitable for vegetarians.

Arran Fine Foods Chutneys, Mustards and PreservesArran Fine Foods range of chutneys, mustards and preserves uses only 100% natural ingredients. Braehead Foods is a wholesaler and game processor supplying the best chefs in the hospitality industry with the highest quality ingredients.

Our customers span across the UK and Europe and range from hotels and restaurants to contract caterers.

Craig Stevenson, MD of Braehead Foods joined the company in 1998 when it was a small supplier of game products based on a farm on the Craufurdland Estate, Ayrshire. A year later, he loved the business so much that he bought it; achieving £1m turnover in the first year. Over the next fours years the company continued to grow and moved to larger premises in Kilmarnock and achieved EC approval to supply Europe.

In 2008, Braehead Foods moved to a 35,000 sq ft custom built warehouse and factory which was 10 times the size of the previous site giving us the opportunity to look at expanding our product offering.

A further expansion in 2014 saw the launch of the Scottish Charcuterie Company providing a range of charcuterie products using Scottish ingredients and made on site in Ayrshire.

In 2010 we established the Production Kitchen which produces a vast range of high quality products including terrines, roulades, stuffed poultry; Made by Chefs, for Chefs. Cairngorm Brewery, established in 2001, is situated in the village of Aviemore within the heart of the Cairngorms National Park in the Highlands of Scotland. They brew and bottle a range of multi award winning premium craft beers in draught and both 500ml & 330ml bottles.

Traditional Scottish recipes using the finest of ingredients and pure Highland water from the Cairngorm Mountains such as Black Gold (CAMRA Champion Beer & Stout of Scotland 2015), Wild Cat (4th in Champion Beer of Scotland 2015.), Nessie’s Monster Mash, Stag and Cairngorm Gold are all well established, giving a consistent quality product together with contemporary brews like Trade Winds (multi award winning since 2004 with both CAMRA and SIBA), Caillie, Highland Gold, and most recently Highland IPA using new world hops.

A truly Highland product range, Cobbs Cakes are baked to traditional recipes in the Loch Ness-side village of Drumnadrochit. Started in 2002, the bakery now employs 30 staff who bake over 100 different products that are distributed throughout Scotland and the north of England. Our range includes sponge cakes, loaf cakes, traybakes, biscuits, gluten free and dairy free lines.

Cobbs Cakes are sold in coffee shops, tearooms, hospitals, universities, visitor attractions and we have even supplied several major national sporting events and functions. We also produce bespoke ranges for high volume clients. Hebridean Sea Salt is Scotland’s first commercial salt producer. Nestled on the banks of Loch Erisort, on the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides, we harvest salt water from some of the most unspoilt coastline in the world.

Founded in 2011 by Natalie Crayton, the company has been through an expansion process 3 times already and brought out two flavoured salts to sit alongside the Pure Original sea salt.

Our Peat Smoked Salt is cold smoked with a mixture of oak chips and peat cut from the surrounding moor. It has a wonderful aroma, reminiscent of the islands and gives a distinctive and delicious flavour to meat, fish and poultry.

Seaweed Infused Sea Salt Flakes – 65gOur Seaweed Infused salt delivers an immediate smell of the shore and so lends itself perfectly to seafood dishes. R&B (Raasay & Borders) Distillers Limited have a site on the Isle of Raasay that we are developing into a small distillery and have plans for a second distillery at a later date in the Scottish Borders.

We are developing our new product, Raasay While We Wait, which will showcase the flavour profile of the Single Malt Scotch Whisky we intend to produce at our new Raasay Distillery once production begins.R&B Distillers intend to open Raasay Distillery to the public from January 2017, and begin sales of 3yo Single Malt Scotch Whisky from 2020.

We are continuing The Tweeddale Blended Scotch Whisky legacy and incorporating it into the Borders half of the R&B brand. We are developing a rather different Single Grain Scotch Whisky with a lighter, sweeter flavour profile that reflects the terroir of the Scottish Borders, to be branded as Borders Single Grain.

Borders Single Grain Scotch WhiskyA unique single grain Scotch whisky combining two expressions from a single distillery, 50% wheat and 50% malted barley, resulting in a rare taste for R&B Distillers’ first edition to the Borders whisky brand, the ‘B’ in R&B.

Raasay While We Wait Single Malt Scotch WhiskyBuilding a distillery takes time, maturing the whisky even longer. While we wait for our Raasay Distillery project to reach completion we’re creating a single malt that demonstrates our whisky making skills and represents the style of whisky Raasay Distillery will produce.

Aptly enough, this special edition, lightly peated single malt Scotch whisky is christened While We Wait.

A lightly peated single malt (15 ppm) crafted from two expressions from a single highland distillery.
