Academic Appointments
2019- present Assistant Professor, Concentration Coordinator for the Exercise in Sports Science
(EXSS) degree, Tarleton State University-Fort Worth, TX.
Responsibilities: Teach a variety of Graduate and Undergraduate Kinesiology courses as
well as other duties related to teaching (i.e. academic/professional career advising); the
creation and implementation of a dynamic recruitment and retention strategy for the BS
degree in Kinesiology at the Fort Worth campus; developing robust partnerships with
local Community Colleges, Public Schools, and Military Bases critical to significantly
increasing enrollment within the Kinesiology program in Fort Worth; demonstrating a
record of ongoing research, publications, presentations, grants, and creative activity
appropriate to the Kinesiology discipline; serving as the Wellness Events Coordinator for
the REVIVE Wellness Initiative Committee; Serving as the Fort Worth campus’ SKIN
Leader; interacting and collaborating with the Tarleton State University main campus
faculty and administration in Stephenville, TX; collaborating with students, colleagues,
and professional through a variety of platforms including social media and podcasts;
