It can be adapted to a wide variety of manufacturing processes, making it ideal for numerous end uses, including packaging, printing, transportation, household appliances, construction, agriculture, ceramics and cosmetics.

Gateway can easily be connected with Colibri® Essentials client-based software and also with third-party proo�ng and design systems.

Right-�rst-time designConsistent colors Gateway allows you to produce designs without having to send samples back and forth and with no reworking. You can centralize your brands, colors and color standards, and link your color standards to your design, ensuring color consistency on different materials and across continents.

Fast ascertainment of color feasibilityThe easy-to-use Color Feasibility tool enables you to check the suitability of your colors using real inks and production substrates. You can select a color standard or measure a color and pick your instrument from the wide variety available. Choose the color(s) to be matched, the material to be used and the required application. Then you can proceed with the calculation. The results will show clearly whether you can achieve the target color and you will be able to view the colorimetric information and recipe details on-screen. You can save the recipe to evaluate it for production.

Efficient color speci�cation and communicationGateway enables you to de�ne reference catalogs and set global, production-acceptable and substrate-speci�c standards. Use the check function to ascertain whether your colors match the speci�ed standards. You can record the history of standards used in production and keep track of expiry dates of physical reference samples dispatched to customers. Approved color standards can be communicated by email. Import and export functions allow you to connect color data with other tools and measuring devices.

Streamlined production and approval processesVia Gateway, you can access Colibri® Essentials and develop, correct and dispense accurate color recipes before and during production.

You can also set up jobs remotely, monitor the quality of products and generate custom reports at every stage of the manufacturing process, from production set up to �nal quality control and product certi�cation. All users can be noti�ed by email of the pass/fail status of the process.

Global sourcing of products and materialsWith its modern architecture and centralized data storage system, Gateway can easily be connected with enterprise resource planning and laboratory information systems, and information on product and material quality rapidly accessed.

The Colibri® administration tool allows the platform owner to establish partners and users with different roles and permissions, ensuring con�dentiality as required.
