HB 7075 creates a new voucher program that would allow funds to flow directly and without accountability from the state treasury to private (including religious) schools. HB 7093 would remove last year's prohibition against allowing full-time classroom teachers to participate in the Guardian Program and carry arms on campus. Florida PTA, and hence Hillsborough County County Council PTA/PTSA, will stand in opposition to these bills. Please expect a Take Action Alert to come out Monday morning.
