Coker Library and the Undergraduate Research Program announce the 4th annual Library Prize of Undergraduate Research. One project will be selected to win $500. Submission deadline is Friday, March 4, 2016. To be eligible to participate you must be a Coker College undergraduate at any class level and in any discipline, and be enrolled, ie, taking a class or classes, in the Spring 2016 semester, or have completed all undergraduate coursework during the Fall 2015 semester (ie graduated in December 2015). Kanopy provides educational institutions access to one of the largest collections of films in the world – including award-winning documentaries, training films and theatrical releases – on every topic imaginable. Through this on-demand streaming video service Coker College now has access to more than 26,000 films. This is a patron driven acquisition model. Films can be viewed/previewed three times with no charges incurred. An annual license fee is triggered the fourth time a title is viewed. Library hours for the semester are posted on the library website, under “About Us” and “Hours.” The monthly Google calendar that is posted shows hours for each day. Check it out here!
