Objective of our Invention

Sort handful of coins efficiently Useful for people who have to deal

with bulks of coins, like taxi drivers, hawkers, piggy-bank owners etc.

Note: It can only work on Singapore Coins.

Source for Inspiration

We went to the school canteen to order some drinks. When we paid her, we saw that all the coins were spread out messily on the counter and its hard for her to find the right coin.

Another time was when we were on a taxi, and when we reached our destination and were paying the taxi driver, we realised that he had a lot of problem getting the right coin in the box full of coins.

to pass through at a time

Shaped liked a box to for easier and safer keeping

Layers of panels to reduce the speed of the coin and avoid jams

End of the funnel is exactly 2.48mm, the smallest ideal gap for coins to go in one at a time

The coins will lean to one side. It is \/-shaped because all the coins are going to lean to

the side with holes thus dropping into the holes easily Has holes at the side Tilted at around 14 degrees angle and the height from

the highest point is 5.6 cm Coin lean against the tube, falling in when the hole is

the right size Holes from smallest to biggest

Coins will be neatly stacked up in a row

The compartment can be easily removed from the main structure, if you bring it around.

Our final product will be made with perspex, which is transparent, allowing the user to see the sorting process.

Can be an interesting toy for children. It is also small, so that you can bring it

wherever you want to go. (It is about 20cm x 8cm)
