FEATURES

Aluminium fins are standard for all fin profiles. Copper tubes with aluminium fins offers the best balance between cost and heat transfer capabilities. Extruded fin collars ensure optimum heat transfer by ensuring maximum tube contact and accurate fin spacing.

Efficient circuiting is achieved through extensive use of pure copper U-bends. All bends have a smooth opening to ensure uniform water flow through-out the coil. Hairpins are available up to certain coil lengths, contact our office to discuss your requirements.

Coils are designed, manufactured and tested by AICOOL, fabricated by expanding copper tube to alumunium collar spaced fins at a suitable pitch to meet design performance requirements.The fins are mechanically bonded providing excellent heat transfer characteristics with staggered tubes in the direction of airflow. Special fin materials and finishes can be provided such as copper fins and electro tinning to meet particular specification requirements.

The coil framework is a rigid galvanized formed section and the coil tubes are brazed to copper headers with inlet and outlet screwed or flanged connections (options).

All coils tested to minimum 450 psig air pressure under water. All chilled water coils are fitted with an air vent, and for direct expansion cooling coils shall have capability to be used in a refrigerant circuit in conjunction with a field supplied and match condensing unit.

All heat exchangers are pro-duced with a staggered tube design. This provides a highly efficient airflow pattern that minimises air friction; helping to reduce fan kilowatt require-ments. Tubes are mechanically

expanded into the fin collars to provide maximum bonding.

Pure seamless copper tubing and return bends.3/8” OD (9.5mm), 1/2″ OD (12.7mm), etc.
