Cohencidence Productions, LLC in association with GotFilms presents

a new action / suspense / neo-noir murder mystery. A Las Vegas Homicide Detective investigates his best friend, while matching wits against the infamous Blue Screen of Death assassin, hunting through Las Vegas’s power elite. 90 minutes, Shot on Red in stunning 4K.

SUMMARY: Jack Adamson, played by Robert Scott Howard in one of his first leading roles, is a charming Las

Vegas homicide detective involved with Las Vegas’s most successful - but questionable - characters.

Forced to work a job he hates by made-man Saffiote (played by Vincent Pastore of “The Sopranos’”), Jack finds refuge with his best friend, Roy Ridell (“General Hospital’s” Tim Tucker), who is also the prime suspect in the murder of his former associate, Wilkinson.

Meanwhile Roy’s wife Angela (“Taken’s” Holly Valance) has been encouraging Roy to give up on Vegas and move them all to the Caribbean.

Roy’s adopted brother Damon (Chyna McCoy of “The Matrix” 1&2), just released from prison, has re-entered their lives. Since Jack was the one who busted Damon, tensions are high. Despite the fact that this is the first time in years these childhood friends have all been together, Jack and Damon are still weary of each other. There’s a brief scuffle with Kyusovich (Russian hand combat champion Eduard Osipov) and his thugs, but Jack and Damon work together to resolve the situation. They reluctantly toast to the gang being back together again.

Jack is assigned by the Captain (Jean Sulli) and Mayor (real life Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman of “Casino”) to assist Mason White (G. Eric Miles), a detective on loan from LAPD. It turns out White investigated Roy in two coincidental deaths several years prior.

During the course of their investigation, two more associates of Roy’s - Kyusovich and Chaise - meet with seemingly random deaths. Evidence mounts against Roy, who had motive, but also alibis – or possibly Damon, who has already re-entered the criminal underworld.

Jack’s personal life slowly infects his investigation. Roy’s secretary, Kim (Olivia Arellano), is infatuated with him. Even with the assistance of her friend (played by Playmate and internet star Bobbi Billard), she can’t take a hint that Jack won’t let himself get involved with anyone. The memory of his past love, an unnamed Blonde Woman (PMOY Corinna Harney-Jones), constantly haunts him.

Since Roy’s alibis are solid, Jack and White conclude the only way for him to have been involved is if a professional assassin, nicknamed the Blue Screen of Death, is as well. Jack finds Damon sparring with MMA star Wanderlei Silva. Damon challenges Jack to one round in the ring for the answers he’s looking for. Jack puts up a good fight, but can’t overpower Damon (All actors performed their own fight scenes).

Jack and White follow Damon’s connections to a restaurateur in Tijuana named “El Corredor” (Reniet Ramirez), who has been brokering the murders.

Everyone becomes a suspect. White uncovers evidence that Damon was never actually in jail, but in fact overseas. Kysovich’s connections hint that the Russian mafia may be making a play on the city. But there is also enough evidence to link Roy to the killings, so a warrant is issued.

Roy turns himself in. They realize that all their evidence on him is circumstantial, so they release him. Finally, in a private confrontation with Jack, Roy admits that he put the Russians in touch with El Corredor over a year ago, but nothing came of it, so he assumed they dropped it. They realize the prime suspect is actually Quarrie, but when they find him, he had already slashed his own wrists.

Jack tells the Captain that he suspects his partner Mason of being the Blue Screen. While the evidence is

circumstantial, all the pieces do fit. The Captain tells him to keep it quiet until he can find some hard evidence.

Alone in their office, Jack pushes to keep the Blue Screen case open, but Mason refuses.

Jack confronts Damon, attending a Muay Thai tournament, asking why he faked going to prison and how he’s

involved with Roy’s bloodmoney. Damon can’t tell him about prison, but swears that he only got $10,000. Jack

realizes that Kim is the only one who actually knows where the other $50,000 went.

Roy drags Angela with him to follow Damon down to El Corredor’s restaurant in Tijuana to confront him in person.

Reveal: it was Angela who hired El Corredor for all the hits. She hires him for one last job with a cash payment and a sealed envelope. Roy gets Damon to admit that he was the one who introduced Angela to El Corredor. Roy confronts Angela about the murders, and she admits she had the blackmailers killed so that she and Roy could be left alone. He accepts her and agrees to move to the islands.

Jack goes in to confront El Corredor. It looks like El Corredor is reaching for a gun, but in fact hands Jack an Angela’s envelopes of money and her new assignment – Jack is the Blue Screen. A series of flashbacks show Jack committing all the murders. He opens the assignment to reveal the target is El Corredor. Jack instantly shoots him. While El Corredor is dying, Jack tells him about his first animal kill, and that he doesn’t like what he has to do, but he is fascinated by it. On his way back to America, Jack remembers his last day with the Blonde Woman, as the weight of what he’s become lands on him.

Jack, Roy, Angela and Damon get together one last time and toast to the gang being back together again.

Cast Bios In one of his first starring roles, Robert Scott Howard leads the cast as Jack Adamson, a Las Vegas homicide detective caught in a world of impossible choices. Bobby caught the attention of producers in the “Saw VI Prologue” short and several Nevada-based indie projects. And although competition was tough, he proved himself the actor to bring Jack to life. Established as one of the all-time great character actors, legend Vincent Pastore co-stars in as Saffiote, the man behind the curtain. His half-century list of credits include such milestones as “Goodfellas” “The Sopranos,” and “Carlito’s Way.”

Jack’s best friend and prime suspect, Roy, is played by Tim Tucker, who started acting at the age of 7 when he sheepishly asked, “Please Sir, can I have some more” in the musical “Oliver.” Volleying between the stage and screen ever since, Tim graduated from the State University of New York at Oneonta With a BA in Fine Arts and a concentration in Performance. In addition to his traveling broadway career, his film and television credits include “General Hospital,” “Happy Heights” and “Last Resort,” as well as his show “Vegas Now TV.”

Roy’s femme fatale wife, Angela, is played by Australian Holly Valance. Finding early success as a screen &

stage actress, singer and model, she quickly dominated international airwaves. Her screen credits include “Taken” opposite Liam Neeson, “Neighbors” and “DOA: Dead or Alive.”

Andre “Chyna” McCoy’s first on-screen job was as the Action Fight/Stunt-Double for Lawrence Fishburne in “The Matrix.” Born in Spain, Chyna went on to act in such films as “The Matrix Reloaded,” Jet Li’s “The One,” and a starring role in “Game Over.” Showcasing his martial arts & acting skills, he even won an award for Next Action Breakout Star. He is pictured here with MMA star & world champion fighter Wanderlei Silva, who makes a one-

round appearance in the film.

Complementing the cast are cameos by pro wrestler Vic D. Vine, Mayor Oscar Goodman, Playmate & internet star Bobbi Billard and Playmate of the Year Corinna Harney-Jones.

.

Tim Tucker is pictured here filming a “Moscow” fight scene in downtown Las Vegas. “Red Herring’s” international cast and crew hailed from more than 20 countries.

Crew Bios Ousa Khun (Director/Editor) has been directing, editing, scoring and creating live action and digital animation content for short films, corporate videos and music videos for more than a decade. He recently directed two ultra-low budget films; with a budget of $10,000 each, he made them look like a million bucks. After an extensive director selection process (65 applicants), Ousa proved that he was the right man to helm this project. He is pictured here directing Reniet Ramirez on a North Las Vegas set

doubling as El Corredor’s rattlesnake restaurant in Tijuana.

Joshua A. Cohen (Writer/Producer), under his banner Cohencidence Productions, LLC, has produced feature films, pilots and a webseries, along with dozens of shorts, videos, music videos and commercials. “Red Herring” was his first feature production, which he quickly followed up by Co-Producing “Counterpunch,” already in distribution through Lionsgate. He recently Associate Produced Eli Roth’s horror/ thriller “Lake Mead” and served as 2

nd Unit Production Supervisor on Sony/Columbia’s “Paul

Blart: Mall Cop 2.” Joshua also owns Nevada Camera & Lens, LLC and co-chairs the Nevada Film Incentive Task Force, which recently enacted film tax incentives in Nevada for the first time. He graduated Cum Laude from Brandeis University with a degree in Psychology and minor in Creative Writing. In addition to creating the characters of “Red Herring” with Executive Producer Russell Grin, Joshua wrote the screenplay and performed more than 10 jobs on the production. Jeremy Settles (Executive Producer), founder and owner of GotFilms, has more than two decades of experience in every role behind the camera. He has written, directed, shot and produced multiple feature films

and worked on dozens of other projects, including “Last Vegas,” “Knocked Up,” and three of the “Saw” movies. Nicholle Sanchez (Asst. Producer) aided the producers and director in the day-to-day set

operations. She is also married to the star, Robert Scott Howard, and can be seen in the film playing the precinct’s Executive Assistant.

Richard Baldomero (Asst. Director) Award-winning director/editor Richard Baldomero has been in the media business for more than a decade, from directing the Student Television Network at the University of Hartford to working for such giants as MGM Grand. His personal projects have included a Las Vegas-based reality series and several well-received shorts, including the self-funded zombie thriller, “No More Help,” and a new method of animating comic books called “LiveComix.” Kunitaro Ohi (Cinematographer) Kuni has worked behind the camera on

dozens of productions, including features, shorts and commercials. After reviewing more than 35 demo reels, we chose Kuni as the best fit for his creative ability to paint the look, feel and texture of the neo-noir film. Kuni makes a brief cameo in the film, and is pictured here with 1st AC Evan Luzi.

Diana Eden (Costume Design) is a multi-award-winning designer with 25 years experience in Hollywood and three Emmy nominations. She has designed costumes for 14 prime time series, 16 pilots, and innumerable features and short films. Diana and her art school interns directed all aspects of costumes, including design and continuity. In between productions, she now teaches costume & wardrobe at UNLV. Taking a break from big-budget productions like “Piranha 3D” and “Observe & Report,” super-man Zack Shisslak served as “Red Herring’s” Production Designer, Art Director,

Set Decorator and Props Master. Michael Damon (Composer) is owner of Virtual Productions in South Florida, and his credits

include several award-winning features and shorts. With a diverse background and uniquely creative spirit, he enjoys collaborating with filmmakers to find the perfect musical landscape for each new project.
