It has been great talking with students about their holiday experiences. We hear that students had a lot of fun travel- ling and spending time with family and friends. Since returning last Wednesday students have had a chance to meet up with friends and settle into their new classrooms and learning routines. We have welcomed the new kinder- garten students and they began their Best Start assessment this week. As the year has begun, we welcome one new staff member, Braith Good. He will be working in a SLSO position on MCvB. Staff spent the first 2 SDDays of the term updating their mandatory training and completing Management of Actual and Potential Aggression (MAPA) training. If there have been changes in student address, phone numbers or care and welfare documentation please update details at the Admin Office sooner rather than later. The welcome rain has put a smile on everyones face and put a little more water in the Newey! Our playground unfortunately still bears the scars of the hot weather over the holiday break.
