Why did you write 'COAST: An Act Of Burial'?

I had a great story idea that wouldn't go away for twen

years. I reached a point where I would either knuckle dow

and write it, or do my best to forget it. I'm very glad I cho

the former.

On the process of writing:

If you've ever thought about being a writer, just do it. Do

wait as long as I did. You have a story to tell and someon

somewhere is yearning to read it.

Are your characters based on anyone?

They definitely have their own unique personalities an

idiosyncrasies but they have some traits borrowed fro

people I've known. There's a little of me in them as well.

Xander Richards was born in Europe but now live

in Canada.

The idea for ‘COAST: An Act Of Burial’ w

conceived in the eighties but lay fallow due to th

pressures of life. Nonetheless, the story stayewith Richards over the next two decades. The nov
