KenWhisenhuntentershisfirstseasonwiththeTitansafterbecomingthe17thheadcoachinfranchisehistoryonJan.14,2014. Whisenhunthas17seasonsofNFLcoachingexperience,includingsixyears(2007-12)asheadcoachoftheArizonaCardinals.AsheadcoachfortheCardinals,hewonafranchise-record49games,includinganappear-anceinSuperBowlXLIIIafterateam-record12-winseasonin2008.Lastyear,asoffensivecoordinatorforSanDiego,heledtheChargersoffensetothefifthmostyardsintheNFLandtheleague’stoprankinginthird-downof-fense.QuarterbackPhilipRiversearnedaProBowlinvitationandmatchedthehighestpasserratingofhiscareer(105.5),whichwasthefourthhighestratingforanNFLquarterbackin2013.ForhisworkwiththeChargers,hewasnamedNFLAssistantCoachoftheYearbytheProFootballWritersofAmerica. Through the years,Whisenhunt has been associatedwith prolific of-fenses, top-flight quarterbacks and winning cultures. In his years as anoffensivecoordinatororheadcoach,hehascoached twodifferentquar-terbackstoSuperBowlberths(BenRoethlisbergerandKurtWarner)andtwosignalcallerstoProBowlselections(WarnerandRivers).Additionally,thoseteamscombinedtoreachtheplayoffsinfiveofhis10seasonsasof-fensivecoordinatororheadcoach,includingoneSuperBowlwin(XL)withPittsburghandoneSuperBowlloss(XLIII)withArizona. Whisenhuntearnedhisfirstheadcoachingjobin2007withtheArizonaCardinals,ajobhewouldholdforsixseasons.Afterjoiningafranchisethathadexperiencedlosingseasonsin20oftheprevious22seasons,hewouldproduce four seasonsat .500or better.His ability to change the cultureyieldedearlyresultsastheteamwent8-8inhisfirstseasonandlaidthefoundationforwhatwastocome.Inhissecondseason(2008)atthehelm,theCardinalscapturedtheNFCWesttitle,anNFCChampionshipandthefranchise’sfirst-evertriptoaSuperBowl.Yearthree(2009)producedan-otherNFCWesttitle,thefranchise’sfirstback-to-backtitlessince1974-75,witha10-6record. Uponhisarrival in thedesert,Whisenhunt inheritedquarterbackKurtWarnerandguidedhimtosomeof thebestyearsofhiscareer. In threeyearstogether,Warnerpassedfor11,753yardsand83touchdowns,andearned his firstProBowl appearance in seven years, alongwith settingthe team record for points scored in 2008 (427).The2008 teamfieldedthefourthbestoffenseintheNFL,andits188postseasonpointswerethethird-highestinpostseasonhistoryonitswaytotheSuperBowl.His2009teamledtheNFLinredzonescoring(70.4%)aswellasredzonetouch-downefficiency(65.1%).WidereceiverLarryFitzgeraldearnedProBowlselectionsineachofthesixseasonsWhisenhuntwasinArizona.WarnerandwidereceiverAnquanBoldineachearnedProBowlnodsfollowingthe2008season.ForhiscareeratArizona,Whisenhuntposteda49-53record,whichincludeda4-2postseasonmark. Before his hiring inArizona,Whisenhunt spent sixseasons(2001-06)withthePittsburghSteelers,thefirstthreeastightendscoachandthefinalthreeasoffensivecoordinator.IneachofhisyearsastheSteelersoffen-sivecoordinatortheteamrankedinthetop10inrush-ingoffense,includingplacingsecondin2004,whentheteamwon13gamesandaveraged154 rushingyardspergamewith rookiequarterbackBenRoethlisberger,whoearnedNFLOffensiveRookieoftheYearhonors.Inhissecondseasonleadingtheoffense,theSteelerswonSuperBowlXL21-10againsttheSeattleSeahawksandBigBenbecametheyoungestquarterbacktowinaSuperBowl.AsRoethlisbergerprogressed,theSteelersfieldedtheseventhbestoffensein2006andtheninth-bestpassingoffense.IntwoofWhisenhunt’sthreeyearsattheoffensivecontrols,theSteelersrankedsixthintheNFLinthirddownoffense. Whisenhunt entered the NFL coaching ranks in1997asthetightendscoachfortheBaltimoreRavens.Hestayed inBaltimore for twoseasonsbeforespend-ing one season (1999)with theClevelandBrowns asspecialteamscoachandoneyear(2000)withtheNew

YorkJetsastightendscoach.Hebeganhiscoaching career as the special teams/tightendscoachatVanderbiltin1995and1996. Whisenhuntplayed tightendasawalk-onatGeorgiaTech from1980-84.HewasnamedAll-ACC as a senior and earned acivilengineeringdegree.In1985,theAtlantaFalcons drafted him in 12th round, and heplayed nine seasons in the NFL, includingfourwiththeFalcons(1985-88),twowiththeWashington Redskins (1989-90) and threewiththeNewYorkJets(1991-93).Heplayedin74gamesduringhiscareerandcaught62passesfor601yardsandsixtouchdowns. Anavidandaccomplishedgolfer,Whisenhunthasbeenascratchplay-er.AttheconclusionofhisNFLcareer,hespentthefollowingyearworkingonhisgolfgame,includinganappearanceinthe1994U.S.Mid-AmateuratHazeltine.Hiscareer-bestscoreisa65,andhehasrecordedtwoholesinoneduringhisgolfingcareer.Asahighschoolstudent,heworkedthefamousmanualscoreboardatthe18thholeatAugustaNationalandsincehashadtheprivilegeofplayingthecourseseveraltimes,includinganeven-par72in2008,whichincludedaneagle2onthe11thhole. AnativeofAugusta,Ga.,Whisenhunt(age51)andhiswife,Alice,havetwogrownchildren–son,Kenneth,anddaughter,MaryAshley.

JasonMichaelentershisninthseasonintheNFL,hisfirstseasonwiththeTitansandfirstasanoffensivecoordinator.HejoinstheTitanscoachingstaff followingthreeseasons(2011-2013)asthetightendscoachfor theSanDiegoChargers. InhisfinalyearwiththeChargers,MichaelworkedunderthedirectionofcurrentTitansheadcoachKenWhisenhunt,thentheoffensivecoordina-torfortheChargers.ThroughhisworkwithtightendAntonioGates,wholed theChargers in receptions (77) in2013,andwith tightendLadariusGreen,whoposted22.1-yardspercatch,MichaelhelpedtheChargersof-fenserankfifthintheleague.InhisthreeyearsworkingwiththetightendsinSanDiego,heguidedGatestothefourthmostreceptions(190)amongNFLtightendsoverthatthree-yeartimespan,whiletotaling2,188yardsand18touchdowns. RayHortonentershis21stseason in theNFL,his fourthasadefen-sivecoordinatorandfirstwiththeTitans.Asaplayerandacoach,hehasparticipatedinatotaloffiveSuperBowlsduringhisNFLcareer.Adiscipleof legendary coordinatorDick LeBeau,Horton has either played for (sixseasons)orcoachedwith(12seasons)LeBeaufor18seasons. Priortocoaching,Hortonwasasecond-roundselection(53rdoverall)bytheBengalsin the1983NFLDraft.Asa safety,Hortonplayed in 147 games, including 99 startsduringhis10-yearNFLcareersplitbetweentheBengals(1983-88)andDallasCowboys(1989-92).He retiredwith19 interceptions,11 fumble recoveries, five forced fumbles,five defensive touchdowns, and two Super Bowl appearances. HortonplayedSuperBowlXXIIIwithCincinnatiandwonSuperBowlXXVIIwithDallas. OneofthetopstrengthandrehabilitationexpertsintheNFL,SteveWat-tersonisinhis29thseasonastheTitans’strengthandconditioningcoach.HestandsasthelongesttenuredactivecoachwithoneteamcurrentlyintheNFL. QualitiesofaTitansteamincludestrength,physicalityandconditioning.Wattersonhasbeenentrustedwithinstillingmanyoftheseattributes. In2010,Wattersonearnedhis‘ArtofStrength’KettlebellInstructorCerti-ficationduringthe‘A.O.S’seminarheldatPunchGyminFranklin,Tenn.HebecamethefirstNFLHeadStrengthandConditioningcoachtocompletethecertificationprogramandalongwithhisassistant,JasonNovak,werethefirsttandemof‘A.O.S’certifiedinstructorsinprofessionalsports.Attherequestof theArmy’s5thSpecialForcesGroup,Wattersonhascoachedmanyoftheirinstructorsinkettlebelltrainingtechniquesandteambuildingactivities. In 1992,Watterson received one of the highest honors of his careerwhenhewasnamedProfessionalStrengthandConditioningCoachoftheYear.WattersonhasbeeninstrumentalinhelpingtodevelopandimplementvariousstrengthandconditioningprogramswiththeTitansanddirectstheclub’ssuccessfuloffseasonconditioningprogram.WattersonjoinedtheOil-ersin1986asstrengthandconditioningcoordinatorbeforebecominganassistantcoachinthoseareaspriortothe1988season.

Before joining the Oilers, Wattersonspent twoseasons (1984-85)as theassis-tanttrainerforthePhiladelphiaEagles.From1979-80, he served as the head trainer atTucson(Ariz.)HighSchoolbeforeacceptingasimilarpostatAmphitheaterHighSchoolinTucson (1980-84).Watterson’sotherac-tivitieshaveincludedservingasatraineratthe1982OlympicDevelopmentCampandat theNationalSportsFestival inColoradoSpringsin1983.Followingthe1990season,WattersonreceivednationalattentionwhenhepersonallysupervisedtherehabilitationofautoracingsuperstarA.J.Foyt.FoytcreditsWattersonwithhisabilitytocomebackfromsevereleginjuriestoraceinthe1991Indianapolis500. WattersonhasadvisedOlympicandWorld-Classathletesonpropernu-tritionalsupplementation.NASCARteams,suchasRichardPetty’s,havecalledonWattersontoadvisethemonpropernutritionforimprovedperfor-mance.HealsohasadvisedNASCARteamsontrainingforproperbiome-chanicsfortheirpitcrews. Wattersonhaspatentspendingonshoulderand legrehabilitationde-vicesandona legmeasuringdevice throughhis company,KelseaPlusCorp.Hereceivedhisbachelor’sdegreefromRhodeIslandandhismas-ter’sdegreefromArizona. BobBostadjoinstheTitansforhisthirdseasonofNFLcoachingandhisfirst inTennessee,afterspendingtwoseasons(2012-13)withtheTampaBayBuccaneerscoachingtheoffensiveline.HeenteredtheNFLcoachingranksafter22yearsofcollegecoachingexperience.Hislinephilosophiesanddevelopmentofmanycollegiate-turned-professionalplayershighlighthiscoachingresume. Inhisfirstseason(2012)withTampaBay,hisoffensivelineonlygaveup26sacks,tyingforthirdfewestintheleague,andpavedthewayforrookierunningbackDougMartin,whorushedfor1,454yardsand11touchdowns,rankingfifthinbothcategories.MartinearnedProBowlrecognitionforhisseason. PriortojoiningtheBuccaneers,BostadservedforsixyearsasrungamecoordinatoratWisconsin. Inhis first twoseasons (2006-07)hecoachedtightends,duringwhichtimehedirectedAll-AmericantightendTravisBec-kum,whosetschoolrecordsforatightendforreceptions(75)andyards(982).Hisstableof tightendsalso includedcurrentNFLplayers,GarrettGraham (Houston) andLanceKendricks (St. Louis).His final four yearswerespentmanagingtheoffensiveline,atwhichtimehetutoredfourfirst-teamAll-Americans–centerPeterKonzandguardKevinZeitler in2011andtackleGabeCarimiandguardJohnMoffitin2010.ThreeofhisplayerswoulddevelopintoNFLfirst-roundpicks–Carimi,ZeitlerandTravisFred-erick.Hedirectedoneofthenation’sbestrushingattacksyearafteryear,allowingtheBadgerstototal3,000rushingyardsontheirwaytotwoBigTentitlesinhisfinaltwoseasonsandwouldleadtheconferenceinrushingyards for fiveconsecutiveseasons.RunningbackMonteBall rushed for1,923yardsandsetanNCAArecordwith39touchdownsduringthe2011campaign. Bostadspentsixseasons(1999-2005)withNewMexicoastheoffen-sivelinecoachbeforehejoinedtheBadgersstaff.Duringthistime,hede-signedblockingschemesfor the2005conferenceoffensiveplayerof theyear,runningbackDonTrellMoore.ForMoore’scareer,hepostedfourcon-

secutive 1,000-yard rushing seasons.Withthe Lobos, Bostad developed four linemenwho would be drafted in the NFL – RyanCook,ClaudeTerrell,RobertTurnerandTer-rancePennington.Priortothis,heservedasoffensive line coach at San Jose State fortwoseasons(1997-98)andwaselevatedtoco-offensivecoordinatorinhisfinalseason.Bostad’sotherexperienceincludesstopsatCalStateNorthridge(1995-96)andtheUni-versityofMinnesota(1992-94).
