6th Grade ParentsOur 6th graders are having a little difficulty organizing their day and therefore
arriving to classes and lunch 5 to 7 minutes late. In order to assist them, the
6th grade team created a locker schedule to help our 6th graders plan ahead
and to avoid the back-and-forth. Please see attachment.
We also plan to allow our 6th graders to pick their lunch room seats on
Tuesday. This will be their seats for the remainder of the 1st marking
period. However, if there are any concerns please have them see me or Mr.
Ross during lunch.
Lastly, I wanted to say thank you to the MOMS of Crofton and to the many
parents who donated school supplies. Our students and their families are
extremely grateful. I would also like to recognize our fabulous PTO and kind
parents who volunteer and drop-in with goodies. We are so blessed to have
such a wonderful community!
Have a wonderful weekend!

MUSICAL NEWS
The Big Fish Grille in Crofton is offering a 20% discount to all faculty, students, and parents of students enrolled in the the below listed Crofton
schools. This offer will be honored during the remainder of the school year. Each guest at the table that meets this criteria will be eligible. Proof of
eligibility can be an ID card, report card, or enrollment paper. This discount will be good on all purchases including already discounted items, specials,
and promotions! This discount is good for the students and their parents as well as the faculty and their spouses.
The Big Fish Grille is starting this campaign to garner support for local independent business and to show appreciation to our local school system. We believe that education is the solution to so many things that challenge our way of life. Many of our employees have young children and our general
manager's wife is a teacher with a degree in elementary education and special needs education. We also understand that the season of life our
students and parents are in can be challenging. That is why we are offering this discount not only for dining in but for pick up orders as well. We know
that time spent away from the home can be fragile during the school year. We hope to establish a relationship between our small business and our local school system for years to come. We look forward to partnering with them in all of the events that occur throughout the school year. In
return we hope that we can be the ones they turn to when they don't want to cook and do the dishes!
To whom it may concern:
Crofton Middle School is equipped with a video camera system. It covers selected interior and
exterior public portions of the building and grounds. It is NOT monitored constantly, but it is
monitored during emergency situations. During certain events, when the safety or security of
students may be in question, authorized personnel from local, state, or federal police or fire
emergency units may be given access to view images projected on the camera system. If you have
any questions about the system, you should call the Supervisor of School Security at 410-222-5083.
