• Ckova and Ckovb have good response to =1 electron beam. Used for =1 gain calibration.

• 300 MeV pions will leave 1-2 PE in Ckova. Can be used for 1PE determination.

• 400 MeV protons below threshold and can be used for noise level determination.

T and %RH monitoring

• To ensure dry conditions in damp UK weather! • Temperature and %RH sensors installed + N2 Flow ~ 0.1 SCFH. • One T / %RH set per CKOV.• Readback in control room. • Temperature monitor chips have failed (non-critical). • MOM daily checklist appreciated!

Monitoring and Analysis

• Routinely moving MICE files to UMiss for monitoring.

• Standard run sheets badly needed with beamline and trigger config.

• Large Ckov signals may indicate some fADC problem?• fADC looks bistable or pions vs protons? JSG?

Future plans

• Work on LED Calibration Pulser.• Rework T/%H Monitor. • Install 500 MHz fADC - no shaper needed for higher rates? JSG• More analysis w G4MICE package – tagged beam.• Thank you for your attention!
