For centuries man has polluted the earth.

Now he’s even cluttering up space. There are many worthless satellites floating around our globe.

The Bible declares that man contaminates more than his physical environment.

He is prone to defile his worship of God as well.When man fails to give Him the proper reverence, he brings dishonor to the name and reputation of our Mighty and Holy God.

That’s what Israel did. In the first chapter of Malachi the people are pictured as polluting their worship by giving their “leftovers.”

They were offering forbidden sacrifices and complaining.

We know that disobedience can be forgiven through Christ’s ongoing mercy.

But that doesn’t change the damage it does in the meantime.

God deserves and demands allegiance that is unpolluted.

So let’s be careful to keep useless clutter out of our worship.

Jesus Christ deserves our true worship.

Don’t be blinded by your sin, there should be nothing between your soul and the Savior.Respect Him for who and what He is, the King of kings and the Lord of lords!
