Highlights from our June meeting…….

Meeting was called to order by President Baron KI7FDU There was a quorum of Officers present. Minutes of the May meeting were read and accepted.

Treasurer's Report – Randy N7CKJ $5482.98

ARES Report – Dave WD7K – ARES group meets the third Tuesday of each month at the Ambulance Shack in Colville at 7:00pm. Don’t forget to check in on the ARES Net Monday nights at 6:30 and Saturday mornings at 9:00am.

PARC Net – George W7WBN – No George

Board Report: Bruce – KC7H – Not Available

Announcements: HRO Raffle Tickets and club patches are still available. Jim W7JWT was interviewed by the Statesman Examiner for a story on Field Day and about HAM Radio in general. Governor Jay Inslee declared June 18th thru the 24th as Ham Radio Week.

Old Business: Field Day June 23 & 24th Jim W7JWT showed everyone the new coffee mugs to be given away at field day and asked to be reimbursed for their cost of thirty dollars. Baron KI7FDU was not able to get a Port-A-Potty, so a chemical one will be set-up for the night crew. Location will be at Jim & Cynthia Frees 2278-B Addy-Cedonia Rd Addy WA Map is provided. Debbie KF7GUB will put up signs Friday evening (June 22nd). Potluck will be at 1:00pm, club will furnish ribs – everyone is expected to bring something to go with that.

New Business:

1. Tiger-Tri is July 21st Debbie KF7GUB asked for volunteers, a Net Controller is still needed.

Anyone wishing to volunteer and would like a T-Shirt must contact Debbie at

[email protected] by July 6th

2018. Otherwise just show up at the Colville High School

parking lot on July 21st at 7:00 am to sign in and go to a station!

2. Jenifer Leithead volunteered to set-up and will maintain a club Face book page. The website will

only be used as a link to the Face Book account and it will be open to anyone wishing to post to it!

FIELD DAY 2018

For the use of your beautiful place, we could

not have asked for more perfect weather!

Signs lit the way as Field Day participants made

the beautiful drive up Addy-Cedonia Road.

back ground. Solar panels was used as a power source.

When it was all said and done – everyone relaxed in the fresh

mountain air. Thank you to everyone who came out and help

make PARC Field Day another great success.

Thank you again Jim & Cynthia for the hospitality and to the Club

for purchasing the ribs and Jim for Bar-Be-Queing them! We had

great food and perfect weather!
