The long sandy beach of Playa Sotavento stretches down to the
south to the beach of Risco del Paso, and at this beautiful beach
Club Mistral
operates a windsurfing and kitesurfing center. Fortunately this
part of Sotavento is favoured by great wind-conditions.

CLUB MISTRAL
The Club Mistral team is well prepared to give you an
unforgettable windsurfing and kitesurfing holiday on
Fuerteventura.
The huge sandy beach, a safe shallow water area and wind all
year round makes Risco del Paso a unique spot, and just next to the
Club Mistral Cen-ter there is a chiringuito serving great Spanish
food and drinks. Kitesurfing lessons are held at the Club Mis-tral
Center in Risco del Paso with the latest North Kiteboarding
equipment, and all lessons are held under the expert supervision of
our international and certified team.
Directly on the beach of Costa Calma you will find our second
center which offers windsurfing rental and lessons. Enjoy the
comfort of this spot, as it is only a short walk away from the
hotels.
El equipo de Club Mistral est qualifica-do para darte unas
vacaciones inolvida-bles de windsurfing y kitesurfing.
La inmensa playa, un area segura con agua poco profundas y
viento todo el ao hace de Risco del Paso un lugar nico. Justo al
lado del centro hay un chiringuito donde ofrecen buenas bebi-das y
comidas espaolas. Los cursos de kitesurf se llevan a cabo en el
centro de Risco del Paso con los equipos de l-tima generacin de
North Kiteboarding. Todas las clases se realizan bajo la
su-pervisin de expertos en nuestro equipo internacional y
acreditado.
En la playa de Costa Calma encontrars nuestro segundo Centro,
tambien ofreci-endo alquiler y clases de windsurf. Dis-frute de la
comodidad de este lugar, ya que est muy cerca de los hoteles.

WINDSURFRENTAL
The windsurfing speed track at Risco del Paso in front of the
Club Mistral Center really lives up to its name. De-pending on the
tide there is a large shallow area in front of the center, which is
superb for intermediate sai-lors to practice water starts and
jibes. Upwind there is a nice wave sailing
spot with waves up to 2 meters. Its
brilliant for those who want to make the first steps in wave
sailing as the waves normally break very smoothly and the sandy
bottom is harmless. We also of-fer windsurfing rental in our center
in Costa Calma, which is a perfect freeri-de spot with flat water
conditions.

WINDSURFINGEn Club Mistral Risco Del Paso, depen-diendo de las
mareas ofrece diversas condiciones para todo tipo de niveles. Con
marea alta se forma un embalse natural, perfecto para principiantes
e intermedios que deseen practicar y me-jorar en condiciones
faciles y seguras. El mar ofrece agua plana, perfecto para
velocidad o freestyle, y con marea baja es poco profundo. Adems de
tener a la izquierda una baja de arena que crea una ola perfecta
para dar los primeros pasos en windsurf de olas.
Tambin en nuestro centro de Costa Calma ofrecemos alquiler de
windsurf, es un lugar perfecto por el freeride con agua muy
plana.

The spot at Risco del Paso Playa So-tavento is an ideal tuition
area whether you are an adult or you want your kids to learn
windsurfing. The conditions for windsurfing lessons are excellent
and enable everybody to experience an easy entry into the sport.
Due to the high tide there are several shallow water areas in
front of the center, especially during the 2 weeks of the month
when the tide is very high. The shallow water area is separated
from the open ocean by a sandbank, and is therefore a safe and
protected lesson area that prevents students from drifting away. We
also offer windsurf lessons for adults and kids in Costa Calma.

Risco Del Paso Playa de Sotavento, un lugar idoneo para todo
tipo de cursos, donde las condiciones para los cursos son
excelentes y permiten a todos ex-perimentar una entrada fcil en
este deporte, adems de divertirse desde el principio! Debido a la
marea alta se crea un embalse natural de agua poco profundo delante

The spot at Risco del Paso Playa So-tavento with its huge sandy
beach is a
perfect place to learn kitesurfing. Kite-surfing lessons are
held to the left and separate from the windsurfing area. We offer
group, private and semi-private kitesurfing lessons with two
students per instructor.
Risco Del Paso Playa de Sotavento es una inmensa playa de arena,
que es per-fecta para aprender kitesurfing. Para ga-rantizar una
mejor seguridad a nuestros alumnos, tenemos la zona de windsurf y
de kitesurf separadas. Te ofrecemos cursos de grupo, semiprivadas
con dos alumnos por monitor y clases privadas.

The restaurant / bar El Jardin in Costa Calma
is located in a nice garden and offers tasty food (e.g. Tapas,
Pizza) and good cocktails. Ano-ther nice place to have a drink and
do some shopping for clothes is the street La Avenida
in the middle of Costa Calma. Worth a visit is the restaurant El
Mirador in the hills with a
beautiful view and typical Canarian food.
El bar / restaurante El Jardin en Costa Cal-ma se encuentra en
