King says she came to The Parade Company in the early 80's when her neighbor told her about a job opening for a seamstress. "I applied for the job and was hired that same day, says King. "The Costume Director at that time liked the garment I was wearing I had made it myself!" She's been rocking and rolling at The Parade Company ever since. Besides sewing, King's other passions are entertaining, traveling and enjoying family especially her two granddaughters (her princesses). She also really enjoys dancing watch out for her at the Volunteer Thank You Party! With Parade season just around the corner, King will soon be busy with costume fittings for the hundreds of volunteers who will be participating in America's Thanksgiving Parade® presented by Art Van. When asked what advice she had for this year's volunteers, King said, "Have fun and most of all dress warm for the parade!" Now, that's good advice!

King says she came to The Parade Company in the early 80's when herneighbor told her about a job opening for a seamstress. "I applied for the joband was hired that same day, says King. "The Costume Director at that timeliked the garment I was wearing I had made it myself!" She's been rockingand rolling at The Parade Company ever since.
