There will be a very short Church Board meeting following today’s service in the Fellowship Hall to appoint church auditors.

Anyone interested in buying the church Steinway piano may contact trustee Dale Jensen at 507-399-1495.

Annual reports for our annual meeting are now due from all committee chairs, treasurers and other positions traditionally submitting a report. Please submit your report to Ashley Haake at [email protected] this week. Contact Dan Whitman if you have any questions.

A proposed amendment to a Bylaw was handed out at a short congregational meeting. Members who did not receive one may ask Rodney Olson for a copy. This amendment will be acted on at the annual meeting.

A movie, War Room, will be shown at the New Year's eve service, December 31st, 7 p.m. Snack will be available, cash donations will go toward youth ministry.

MENS RETREAT AT HIDDEN ACRES: January 22-24. For Registration and more info go to www.hacamps.org/retreats.htm. Also summer camp info is on the bulletin board in the foyer.

The dishtowel drawer in the church kitchen is empty. If you have any of the church’s dishtowels, please return them. Donations to the drawer are welcome as well.

Christmas offering of the Busy Believer's Sunday School class can be given to Kris Isenberg for the next two weeks. Half will go to Tim and Carolyn Dahlin, and half will go to the Ken Jahnke fundraiser. Thank you.

One-Year Bibles are in the foyer, help yourself if you plan to read the whole Bible in 2016. If you are able to help defray the cost of the Bibles, $15 each, put cash in an envelope marked "for Bibles" or put "for Bibles" in the memo line of a check.

Dear Church Family. Thank You! - each and everyone - for your part in making my 80th birthday bash such a memorable event! I had so much fun I think I'll go for another 80th! Special thanks to my wife, Kathy, and my daughters, Melanie, Judy, Susie and Amy, for making and accomplishing all the arrangements in grand style, and The Spokesmen Quartet for taking time out of their busy schedules to have a little fun and reminisce a little. I'm still in awe of the number of people that turned out - I was expecting a couple dozen or so. But the biggest thing? I am encouraged by the love and support you showered on me and I thank you - and God - for that. As many of you know, I didn't accept Jesus until I was 52 years old. While living the Christian life isn't without problems, it's an awful lot easier to beat them with Him on my side! Jesus loves YOU! and so do I. Bill Raine
