EXALEAD CloudViewTM is the infrastructure that powers the EXALEAD’s public WWW search engine as well as the company’s custom SBAs and the EXALEAD ii Solution Suite of packaged, vertical SBAs.

The EXALEAD CloudViewTM platformis composed of four core components administered via a Management and Monitoring console.

CloudView Connectivity uses state-of-the-art data connectors and the industry’s most advanced Web crawler to gather multi-format data from virtually any source. This includes an intelligent extraction of complex structured data and associated rich metadata (attributes, rules, relationships, etc.) from the world’s most sophisticated enterprise applications and data warehouse systems, and processing of the “grey” data that constitutes the bulk of today’s Big Data collections, that is to say:• Unstructured content like documents,

emails, call recordings and videos• Semi-structured data such as HTML

and XML, including social media content

CloudView index

The CloudView Semantic Factory is a Web-scale toolbox to analyze and structure real-world content. It enables you to extract business facts, relationships and opinions from huge stores of unstructured or semi-structured data (email messages, videos, Web pages, log files, etc.), and to meaningfully integrate that content with structured content from enterprise applications, databases and data warehouses. As a result, you can generate maximum value from your existing assets while creating a single, meaningfully structured data layer to support your business applications.

The CloudView indexing module per-forms three essential functions:

1) Indexing: It builds and maintains a unified, multi-dimensional index from data flowing from the Connectivity and Semantic Factory modules.

2) Analytics: It supports agile quali-tative and quantitative analytics by aggregating, categorizing (faceting), and clustering data on the fly, as well as performing query-time semantic, statis-tical and mathematical computations.

3) Semantics: It works in tandem with the CloudView Semantic Factory to provide semantic query processing, that is to say analyzing queries expressed in natural language and returning relevant results, even for incomplete or imprecise requests.

EXALEAD CloudViewTM features a browser-based system administration panel (and API) that supports central management of 1, 2, 10, or 100s of servers, and allows administrators to easily manage global configurations, monitor system performance, and assign administrative rights.

The EXALEAD CloudViewTM Mashup Builder is a drag-and-drop interface for rapidly prototyping and deploying SBAs. Whether your application will serve 100 enterprise users or 100 million Internet users, you can prototype a robust proof-of-concept in one day, with a full production release in a matter of days or weeks. Simply drag-and-drop feeds from one or dozens of internal or external data sources into the Mashup Builder (your CloudView index, databases, the Web, etc.) then drag-and-drop multi-channel design widgets for search, presentation and/or reporting into a Web page template.
