ClorDiSys Torch ClorDiSys Solution’s Torch TM UV Disinfection System is designed to be the most efficient, effective, and affordable UV Decontamination System for rooms available. Constructed out of stainless steel and utilizing large diameter casters, the Torch is durable and easy to move, offering reliable daily use in reducing organisms at any facility. The Torch uses high quality ballasts and bulbs, coupled with an industrial PLC controller to ensure years of trouble free use. The Torch system offers the lowest price per UV-C watt output available. Treatment costs under a dollar and low replacement bulb costs further enhance the affordability. The Torch utilizes eight UV-C bulbs around an open core such that each bulb can radiate its light 360 degrees. As the ceiling is harder to disinfect than the floor, the UV-C bulbs are angled at a 4 degree pitch to increase the UV-C dosage reaching the ceiling surfaces. The Torch was designed to provide a UV-C output capable of obtaining a calculated 99% reduction of typical viruses and bacteria in 1 minute and a 99% reduction of spores like C-diff within 5 minutes inside a 10 ft radius. At 10 feet, the Torch produces a UV-C intensity of approximately 10.80 mJ/cm 2 per minute (180 μw/cm 2 ). Operation of the Torch is easy. Simply roll the Torch into the room and plug it in. A timer on the Torch sets the length of the disinfection exposure, which remembers that length unless changed. The Torch system can be started via a local start button on the Torch or from a remote control. Once started, a one minute delay is activated with an audible alert in order to signal that a cycle is about to begin. Motion sensors prevent a UV exposure from starting if someone is still inside the room when the exposure is set to begin, and will abort the exposure if motion is detected during an exposure. Each Torch has an emergency stop button which aborts an exposure in progress and/or can inhibit an exposure from starting. After the one minute safety delay, the UV-C bulbs will turn on and remain on for the set time, automatically turning off once the adjustable exposure timer runs out. Afterward, the room is immediately safe to enter and occupy. Torch Sensor Module The TORCH Sensor Module is a small system designed to monitor the UVC dosage and provide traceable documentation of the UV disinfection process. A room number is entered to document what was area treated, a time and date stamp is placed on the run record, and the accumulated dosage is documented. The system works with any UV room disinfection systems or robots. Data is saved on a memory stick and can be imported in excel format to any computer. ClorDiSys Torch

ClorDiSys Solution’s TorchTM UV Disinfection System is designed to be the most

efficient, effective, and affordable UV Decontamination System for rooms

available. Constructed out of stainless steel and utilizing large diameter casters,

the Torch is durable and easy to move, offering reliable daily use in reducing

organisms at any facility. The Torch uses high quality ballasts and bulbs, coupled

with an industrial PLC controller to ensure years of trouble free use. The Torch

system offers the lowest price per UV-C watt output available. Treatment costs

under a dollar and low replacement bulb costs further enhance the affordability.

The Torch utilizes eight UV-C bulbs around an open core such that each bulb can

radiate its light 360 degrees. As the ceiling is harder to disinfect than the floor,

the UV-C bulbs are angled at a 4 degree pitch to increase the UV-C dosage

reaching the ceiling surfaces.

The Torch was designed to provide a UV-C output capable of obtaining a

calculated 99% reduction of typical viruses and bacteria in 1 minute and a 99% reduction of spores like C-diff

within 5 minutes inside a 10 ft radius. At 10 feet, the Torch produces a UV-C intensity of approximately 10.80

mJ/cm2 per minute (180 µw/cm2).

Operation of the Torch is easy. Simply roll the Torch into the room and plug it in. A timer on the Torch sets

the length of the disinfection exposure, which remembers that length unless changed. The Torch system can be

started via a local start button on the Torch or from a remote control. Once started, a one minute delay is

activated with an audible alert in order to signal that a cycle is about to begin. Motion sensors prevent a UV

exposure from starting if someone is still inside the room when the exposure is set to begin, and will abort the

exposure if motion is detected during an exposure. Each Torch has an emergency stop button which aborts an

exposure in progress and/or can inhibit an exposure from starting. After the one minute safety delay, the UV-C

bulbs will turn on and remain on for the set time, automatically turning off once the adjustable exposure timer

runs out. Afterward, the room is immediately safe to enter and occupy.

Torch Sensor Module

The TORCH Sensor Module is a small

system designed to monitor the UVC

dosage and provide traceable

documentation of the UV disinfection

process. A room number is entered to

document what was area treated, a time

and date stamp is placed on the run

record, and the accumulated dosage is

documented. The system works with any

UV room disinfection systems or robots.
