• Medicallaboratoryprofessionalsarededicatedtoservingthehealthcareneedsofthepublic.Thewelfareofthepatientandrespectforthedignityoftheindividualshallbeparamountatalltimes.
• Medicallaboratoryprofessionalsworkwithotherhealthcareprofessionals,toprovideeffectivepatientcare.
• Medicallaboratoryprofessionalsshallpromotetheimageandstatusoftheirprofessionbymaintaininghighstandardsintheirprofessionalpracticeandthroughactivesupportoftheirprofessionalbodies.
• Medicallaboratoryprofessionalsshallprotecttheconfidentialityofallpatientinformation.
• Medicallaboratoryprofessionalsshalltakeresponsibilityfortheirprofessionalacts.
• Medicallaboratoryprofessionalsshallpractisewithinthescopeoftheirprofessionalcompetence.
