The secret to perfect glowing skin

How  many  of  you  have  always  envied  those  who  can  just  wake  up  in  the  morning  wash,  get  dressed,  moisturize  and  hit  the  door?...well  I  know  I  have

Now  you  can  become  those  lucky  individuals. For  years  women  have  been  thriving  for  the  natural  look  and  I  can  tell  you  its  been  under  our  noses  all  this  time. What  is  it?....water! Yes  it’s  true  water  really  does  clear  up  skin  imperfections  and  gives  the  skin  a  glowing  effect. Drinking  an  adequate  amount  of  water  daily  is  important  for  overall  good  health    because  water  aids  in  digestion,  circulation,  absorption  and  even  excretion.    The  fact  is  that  skin  is  an  organ,    and  just  like  any  other  part  of  the  body.    your  skin  is  made  up  of  cells.  skin  cells,  like  any  other  cell  in  the  body,    are  made  up  of  water.  Without  water,    the  organs  will  certainly  not  function    properly  or  at  their  best.

Home made lip balm

Ingredients: bees wax, grape seed oil or almond oil, olive. The oil really depends on what scent you want you balm to have

Melt equal parts beeswax and oil of your choice in a small pan over the stove. Use a small amount (maybe a few tablespoons) of wax and oil. When the mixture is completely melted, pour it into a small glass or tin container. You can optionally add vitamin E at this last step (just after pulling it from the heat). Vitamin E is a natural preservative and excellent for the skin. Let the mixture cool to room temperature and then it is ready to use. use a small baby food jar that I have sterilized to store the lip balm. You can also check out reusable and recyclable tin containers at Mountain Rose Herbs. If you get brave and want to experiment you can customize your lip balm to your preferences. If you like harder lip balm then you can add a bit more wax, if you like your lip balm softer you can add a bit more oil. It is perfectly safe to keep re-melting the lip balm mixture until you get the consistency you like, just be sure that if you want to add vitamin E you do that after you have removed the mixture from the heat for the last time. Commercial lip balms usually are made with petroleum and other carcinogens. “Natural” lip balm can be very expensive; the above recipe is a great alternative without having t o skimp for quality.

CLINIC Shiny healthy hair the natural way

The winter season can be very damaging for our hair no matter what type so it is which can mean many trips to the salon but with the Christmas period being renown for it’s buy period, I have four remedies that will leave you probably needing a booking.

You will need: Honey, water, espresso, apple cider vinegar, and lemon juice

1. Honey Try  honey  to  add  shine  to  dull  hair.  Mix  3  tablespoons  of  honey  and  1  pint  of  water.  Rub  mixture  into  hair  and  scalp.  Leave  on  for  20  minutes  (cover  hair  with  a  shower  cap).  Rinse  hair  thoroughly  with  cool  water  and  blow  dry  hair  on  medium  high.  Save  the  remaining  honey  mixture  and  use  once  a  week  to  keep  your  hair  shiny  and  full  of  volume.

2. Espresso

Use  espresso  to  enhance  hair's  natural  shine.  Brew  1  cup  of  strong  espresso.  Let  cool  for  30  minutes.  Pour  espresso  over  dry  hair  and  leave  it  in  for  20  minutes  (cover  hair  with  a  shower  cap).  Rinse  hair  thoroughly  with  cool  water  and  blow  dry  hair  on  medium  high.  Your  hair  will  instantly  shine  and  glow.

3. Apple cider vinegar

Apple cider vinegar rids hair of dirt and oil. Mix 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar with a gallon of water. Wash and rinse hair as usual with your favorite shampoo. Pour 2 cups vinegar and water mixture into hair and rub in. Leave in for 30 minutes (cover hair with a shower cap). Rinse hair thoroughly with cool water and blow dry on medium high. Save the remaining vinegar mixture to use every two weeks to cleanse product residue and oils from your hair.

3. Fresh lemon juice

I  hope  these  homemade  remedies  to  dry  dull  hair  made  you  interested  in  trying  out  more  natural  remedies  and  have  inspired  you  to  do  maybe  experiment.
