CLIMBING HIGHER

Exodus 24:15-18 15 Then Moses climbed up the mountain, and the

cloud covered it. 16 And the glory of the Lord settled down on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it for six

days. On the seventh day the Lord called to Moses from inside the cloud. 17 To the Israelites at the foot of the mountain, the glory of the Lord appeared at the summit like a consuming fire. 18 Then Moses

disappeared into the cloud as he climbed higher up the mountain. He remained on the mountain forty

days and forty nights.

1. Lean In

Proverbs 21:21 - Whoever pursues righteousness and unfailing love will find life, righteousness, and honor. Jeremiah 29:13-14 – “If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. I will be found by you,” says the Lord.

2. Linger

Psalm 37:7 - Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for him to act. Isaiah 64:4 - For since the world began, no ear has heard and no eye has seen a God like you, who works for those who wait for him!

3. Listen

Isaiah 55:3 - “Come to me with your ears wide open. Listen, and you will find life." Psalm 81:13-14 - Oh, that my people would listen to me!...How quickly I would...act.

4. Launch

Luke 22:54 - So they arrested Jesus and led him to the high priest’s home. And Peter followed at a distance. Acts 17:28 - For in him we live and move and exist.
