Climate, flora and fauna in Spain There are five types of climate in Spain:- Atlantic climate,(llamado tambin ocenico),-Mediterranean climate: Continental climate (de interior)Tipical and Dry (sureste de Espaa),-Subtropical climate,-Mountain climate. 3. Mediterranean climate Typical:-In coastal areas.-Temperatures: Mild in winters. Hot in summers.-Rainfall is irregular (most rain in autumn). Dry: (No lo estudiamos como un clima en el libro).-In the southeast of Spain.-Temperatures are mild.-Rainfall is light, especially in summers. 4. Mediterranean climate Continental (de interior).-On the Central Plateau and in the Ebro valley.-Temperature: Summmers are hot.Winters are cold.-Rainfall is light. 5. Atlantic (Ocenico)-On the Cantabrian coast and in Galicia.-Temperature: Summers are cold.Winters are mild.-Rainfall is abundant.-Flora: Many forests and meadows.-Fauna: Foxes, wolves, wild boars, and deers. 6. Subtropical climate-In the Canary Islands.-Temperatures are mild all year.-Rainfall is low.-Flora: Dragon trees and tabaiba spurge.-Fauna: Giant lizards and canaries. 7. Mountain climate-In the highest mountain areas.-Temperatures: Winters are very cold. Summers are mild.-Rainfall: It rains and snows a lot.-Flora: Meadows and forests with fir trees.-Fauna: Vultures and goats.
