Welcome to the End of Year Review 2011

As 2011 draws to a close, our end of year

review provides the perfect opportunity

for us to reflect on some of the great

successes for NetSupport during the year

as well as pass on our genuine thanks to

all of our customers and partners that

have supported us and our technology

this year.

We all recognise the challenges ahead,

with difficult market conditions and

everyone, rightly, ensuring they find the

best possible solutions for the lowest

possible cost. As a vendor operating at

the premium end of the market, this

does at times make accommodating

all of our potential customers’ needs a

challenge, but it also provides us with an

opportunity to show the real difference in

our solutions and, in many cases, the cost

savings that can be leveraged by their

use.

For 2012 we have a series of product

launches prepared and well in progress;

the first of these we hope to announce

early in the new year. Not only will 2012

bring updates to our core Windows

technology, but also expect to see

lots of new mobile solutions from the

NetSupport development team.

Another Award Winning Year For NetSupport and Its Technology2011 has seen NetSupport add to its impressive list of industry awards and accolades.

Customers once again voted in their thousands as we achieved a record number of nominations at the Network Computing Awards. NetSupport Manager, NetSupport Notify and NetSupport DNA all made the shortlist in their respective categories and at April’s gala dinner in London, NetSupport ServiceDesk was crowned Service ManagementProductoftheYearforthethirdconsecutiveyear.

It’s always rewarding when your technology comes out top when reviewed against your competitors’ products and in June we were delighted when NetSupport School did just that in a group test conductedbyPCPRO’sneweducationmagazine,ICTReviews.Described as ‘The Rolls-Royce of classroom management software…’, NetSupport School rated highest in terms of ease of use, range of features and value for money. In July, Network Administrators and Tech Coordinators from across America’s school districts delivered their verdicts in the annual Scholastic Administr@tor Best In Tech Awards and, for the fourth year running, NetSupport School was named a winner.

September saw us receive the great news that our Techincal Support Manager, Andy Earp, had been named a finalist at the prestigious UK IT Industry Awards. Nominated in the Service and Support ProfessionaloftheYearcategory,Andyhasbeenrecognisedforthecommitment and professionalism he has brought to his role and ensuring that he and his team deliver exceptional customer service.

NetSupport Manager and NetSupport School both received nominationsatthePCPROExcellenceAwards.ManagerwasafinalistintheBusinessProductoftheYearcategorywhileSchoolmadetheEducationProductoftheYearshortlist.

Finally, our continued overseas sales growth saw us recognised as one of the eastern region’s leading exporters by the International Trade Awards in September.

ABCD, held in Fiera di Genova, is Italy’s leading education technology show and the event provided the ideal forum for NetSupport’s Italian partner, Bludis, to update visitors on some of the exciting product developments that have taken place in recent months.

AsBludis’technicaldirector,MaurizioErbaniexplains,withinvestmentin education technology at an all time high in the country, there was great interest in NetSupport’s classroom management technology as schools look to invest in the very best support solutions:

NetSupport Assist

A real highlight of 2011 was the release of our new Mac® and Linux-compatible classroom management solution, NetSupport Assist, in April.

The launch of Assist saw NetSupport become the first classroom management software vendor to offer compatible solutions across Windows (NetSupport School), Mac® and Linux environments. Version 1.03 followed in October with support for Mac® OS X Lion, as well as extended language support with a fully localised Japanese interface.

With a growing number of educational establishments extending their IT infrastructure to include Mac® and Linux computers and netbooks, customers have been quick to welcome NetSupport Assist into their mixed platform ICT suites.

NetSupport’s partner network has extended to Nepal following the appointment of NepalDataSystemsPvt.Ltd(NDS)asanapprovedresellerofourtechnology.

2011 sees a continued fall in resolution times
