INTRODUCTION With the aim of providing effective English learning methods with technological supporting learning tools, in 1999, U.S Cleverlearn, Inc was stablished. Cleverlearn has been rapidly developed and presented in many countries such as Germany, Belgium, Korea, Japan, Philippines, Hongkong, Vietnam... Presenting in Vietnam at the very early age after establishment, Cleverlearn is run in the two biggest cities, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. JOB TITLE | English Teacher

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Teach English to young children and teenagers aged from 6 to 18 (primary to university students) or TOEIC, TOEFL, IELTS for adults: including 15 hours teaching in class per week, equivalent to 60 hours per month. Any extra teaching hour in class will be counted USD 12 to USD 15 per hour. Time for preparation, testing, student assessment, organizing extra-curriculum activities is 25 hours per week in total, equivalent to 100 hours per month. • Take care of children; • Organize games in class and extra-curriculum activities. • Prepare teaching plan with specific content for activities inside and outside class. • Implement oral test, supervise and assess students. • Join seminars and other exchange activities with enterprises. • Fill in AIESEC quality surveys before, during and after internship.

MEASURABLE SUCCESS EXPECTED FROM INTERN • Attract students • Be active, creative and enthusiastic in activities in the centre and well take care of children • Well prepare every lesson, follow the curriculum and schedule • Follow the internal regulations of the centre • Understand Vietnamese culture and core values of the centre

PREPARATION REQUIRED BEFORE ARRIVAL • Research and prepare a number of innovative, creative and effective teaching methods • PR, marketing skills and talents (singing, drawing, painting, dancing...) will be preferred • Prepare national flag, traditional clothes, traditional objects and optional presentation of the home country.


OTHER DETAILS OF WORKING CONDITIONS • Most people in the centre can communicate in English • Curriculum, schedule, textbook and other teaching materials are provided • Internet and Wi-Fi is available • Shared working room with other staff • Salary is paid on the 1st of every month • AIESEC and Cleverlearn Language Centre and intern will have a meeting on intern’s first working day • Intern will by himself/herself pay the taxi cost from the air port to the centre on the arrival day, which costs about USD 12 to 16. • Warm party will be celebrated during the internship at the centre. Other extra activities may be hold also.

WORKING PLACE | Ho Chi Minh City

SALARY | 350 USD per month.

ACCOMMODATION Provided (FREE): There are TWO options for intern: 1) On Road 8, Linh Trung Ward, Thu Duc District (200 m from the nearest bus stop), bus tickets are paid by the centre, 1 or 2 people in a room. 2) At 25 Dang Van Bi Street, Truong Tho Ward, Thu Duc District (inside the centre), hence no need to travel to the centre, 4 to 5 people in a shared large room. Both places include bed, closet, internet, hot water, toilet, air conditioner.
