Chilo: Living and Working with the Ohio RiverDiscover the rich heritage of the Ohio River Valley at this visitor center and museum. Each exhibit portrays sweet memories as well as the woes and tribulations that follow the river’s path. Explore hands-on lessons with interactive displays and activities. Grant’s Birthplace The birthplace of Ulysses S. Grant, 18th president of the United States, is on the National Register of Historic Places. A basic three-room frame structure built in 1817, the

house includes historic memorabilia and period furnishings. The grounds and park provide a scenic view of the Ohio River. Tri-State Warbird MuseumFeaturing more than 30,000 square feet of preservation and commemoration exhibits, the museum is dedicated to remembering those who fought for our freedom, and honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice. The museum maintains a fleet of authentic working historical aircraft. Each aircraft is a time capsule — a testament to their

Underground Railroad Freedom TrailFollow freedom’s path on the Clermont County Freedom Trail. This self-guided tour highlights 33 Underground Railroad and Abolitionist sites throughout Clermont’s scenic rolling hills and along the Ohio River.
