Curtain Wall System
SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE The DESA 2500HP Series Curtain Wall is an exterior glazed, stick built, multi �oor, pressure equalized rain screen system. This superior performance system utilizes a polyamide, structural strutted thermal break knurled between the curtain wall nose and back section. The polyamide strut is located in the same plane as the insulated glass unit to reduce thermal bridging. Air/vapour barriers can easily be incorporated between window and wall systems to improve building envelope performance.
The DESA 2500HP Series provides a greater thermal performance improving the comfort level of interior spaces. This system allows for improved u-values of up to 21%, a distinct increase in interior surface warmth and a greater resistance to condensation.

Polyamide is an industry proven low conductive material that produces a superior performance rating in comparison to the conventionally thermally improved curtain wall systems. Polyamide also has similar thermal expansion properties to aluminum reducing internal frame stress. In addition to the use of a polyamide strut, PVC perimeter anti-rotation spacers maintain higher thermal performance than traditional aluminum spacers.
