Bring Your Yard Back to Life Ever let your lawn go? Or move into a new house in Orem where the old tenants let the backyard go to

waste?

Branches, brambles, weeds and some new species of mold have grown over what was once a beautiful

lawn and flower bed. The sight is disheartening to look at.

How could something that was once so lovely become so tarnished? The answer is simple, neglect.

A Neglected Lawn is a Messy Lawn Leave a yard alone for a year or two, and it becomes almost unrecognizable. A lawn that isn’t mowed

becomes tall and wild.

As it grows too tall for the sprinklers to shoot water over, it begins to die in the hot Orem sun. This

leaves behind bio-waste that is almost

impossible to get sun and water too until

it decomposes

Any gardens you were growing are either

long gone, or have spread into parts of the

yard that you’d rather not have them.

Certain flowers and fruits/vegetables are

known for this overgrowth.

These elements and more combine to

create an eye sore to behold. You want to

fix it, you really do.

You’re just scared of getting started. You

know this project is going to take you a few months to accomplish.

Your busy schedules only allow you to work on the weekends and that is the last thing you want to

spend your entire Saturday doing. You wish the project could take you just a few short hours, but you

realize it can’t.

Or can it? Where ever you live, you are part of some kind of community.

Whether you’re in with your neighbors, religious friends, or co-workers, you are a part of a group of

people that would be happy to help you. Most people will answer the call to arms if you let them know

you need it.

Make an announcement to your Orem community that you want to clean your yard this weekend and

tell them you need help for just a couple of hours. Offer them refreshments and an end time and they

are more than happy to make some time to come help you.

After about ten to twelve people have a

go at your yard for a few hours, it’ll be

hardly recognizable as the dump that it

used to be. A lot of people can help you

get a lot more done in a shorter period

of time.

No, the question becomes what to do

with all the bio-trash your friends have

pulled out. In especially bad cases,

you’ll have more than enough bio-

waste to fill a dumpster.

Unfortunately, most housing complexes don’t offer you dumpsters to put all of the left over waste.

Fortunately companies offer dumpster rentals to the general public.

They will drop off a dumpster on wheels next to your home. You can store everything you want to get

rid of there.

When you’re ready, you can get it hauled off to a dump where you’ll never have to look at it again.

Dumpster rentals are convenient and easy.

With the right help and the right tools, you can tackle clearing that ugly backyard in just a few hours on a

weekend. The process doesn’t have to be soul-crushing.

It just has to be thought out. Once all the bad stuff is gone, you can start building again your beautiful

yard.
